  1. Yeah, I knew it was a top-loader - just wasn't sure the best way to get it back out as I didn't do the install.
  2. The HDPE & a Dead-blow Hammer had it out faster than Cumswalla unzipping Slick Willie's fly!
  3. I've got some random chunks of HDPE that I'll try & shape to use as a impact block/persuader.
  4. Thanks - didn't see that install info on the Hahn site. Have Mag Release and 9mm Bolt Catch removed so I guess it's just trying to carefully tap it out of the lower.
  5. Need to remove a Hahn Non-dedicated/Top 9mm Adapter from a basic Anderson AM-15 Lower, hopefully without damaging anything. Tried searching this forum, Google, Youtube, etc. but can't find any info. Put a call in @ Hahn but haven't received a callback.
  6. Thanks - my F.A.R.T. will take care of that!
  7. Have seen a couple of posts alluding that PMC 223 has some kind of Tar sealing the primer that needs to be removed before reloading. Can anyone confirm this? Also, how is the quality of PMC?
  8. No step - definitely brass. Below is from their website - they tout everything as American-made and seem pretty proud of the company and their products. Home Page - Ammo Inc. "AMMO, Inc. is a high-quality, technology-driven ammunition U.S.-based company; from our patented STREAK (R), HyperClean, and military ammunition technologies, to the latest and best manufacturing technology in the industry. Our manufacturing facilities and processes meet or exceed all SAAMI and MilSpec specifications. We pride ourselves in our strong American heritage. We use the best American-made components and manufacture our products in the United States. Each round is designed, manufactured, inspected and packaged to bring a superior shooting experience to our end user. Every AMMO, Inc. round is meticulously inspected by U.S. citizens. As a company, we are focused on creating jobs for Americans. The ammunition we build performs like high-end custom, hand-loaded ammunition, but is sold at extremely competitive prices."
  9. Tried searching but found no info - is Ammo Inc 9mm Headstamp Brass any good to reload?
  10. Turned 60 August 2nd and the right knee is just about gone. Severely tore my Meniscus in late 2016 and had surgery to "repair" it in 2017 - basically was left with no Meniscus. Was OK for awhile but has been getting increasingly less stable with increasing pain the last four months- can't run at all and sometimes even walking is no bueno. Not looking forward to surgery/recovery while this Kung Flu BS is still going on...
  11. Sweet! Thank you for your Service if you're a Veteran, gmantwo!
  12. John Carpenter's 1982 remake of The Thing is one of my favorites. Aliens 1 and 2 were pretty good too.
  13. LOL - Thought this thread was about The Kingdom, that 2007 Saudi Terrorist movie.
  14. I was done with TWD after season 3. It started downhill with season 4 and continued - too bad...
  15. They sure left us with a cliffhanger the last episode of season 3 - can't wait til season 4! If anyone is new to Yellowstone and can't watch it through their Cable/Streaming provider, check with your County Public Library as mine is carrying the first two seasons on DVD.
  16. Welcome, Clarence - do you like Gladiator movies?
  17. Thank You! My zoom setting was the culprit.
  18. Since the Upgrade, I can't seem to be able to locate the User CP button to access my Settings, Profile, etc. Am I just not looking hard enough? Using a Dell laptop on Win 10 - Firefox Browser.
  19. Just got the word that my Polyp was indeed benign so I'm good for 5 years.
  20. I'm done, relaxing at home and hopefully good for another five years. They got me hooked up with an IV Saline Drip and the Anesthesiologist goes, "I'm gonna give you a little something to make the time pass quicker" - the next thing I knew the Nurse was waking me up saying All Done. All I know is whoever invented Propofol, I'd like to buy them a Beer or two! No signs of Cancer and only had one Polyp removed that looked Benign to the Doc but I won't know for sure until later next week. Doc said I do have a mild case of Diverticulitis but that it's pretty common and that increasing the amount of Fiber in my diet should take care of it. If you've never had a Colonoscopy, it's really no big deal. On the other hand, developing Colon Cancer because you haven't been getting checked is a big deal...
  21. Started my Prep (2 liters Trylite) last night. Really not as bad as I've read some make it out to be. Began drinking it well-chilled using a couple of flexible drinking straws but switched to chugging it straight from the bottle after the 1st 8oz. Once the stuff started working, I elected to just sit on the throne as my eruptions were coming with little advance warning. In one hour I start in on the last 2 liters with two Dulcolax tablets at the end. Procedure is scheduled for Noon - wish me luck as I'm 55 so am five years overdue for my first.
  22. I'm growing weary of the PITA it is to clean/remove Carbon Fouling/Buildup in the Gas System on my JM Pro and to a lesser extent, my AR15. On the JM's, it seems it's generally not recommended to use any lube on the Gas Piston or Rings. I've heard some folks say they've used Fireclean on their Piston/Rings with good results and others say it's a waste of $. What other products are available that either hinder the ability of carbon fouling to form a tenacious grip or that make removing said fouling much easier?
  23. Thanks everyone - I tried a tiny dab of sticky Boat Trailer Wheel Bearing Grease and have had no issues since.
  24. Thanks everyone - will try some anti-sieze or a dab of grease. If that doesn't do the trick, a set of extended tubes with a proper wrench will be next.
  25. My Brother & I both own JM Pro 24's - use them recreationally shooting clays, etc. About the only issue we have is the stock choke tubes loosen up every time after shooting 25-50 rounds despite tightening them as much as possible with the stock wrench. Is there a certain type of non-permanent Loctite that could be used to prevent this from happening? I have some Blue Loctite but figured it'd be best to ask here before using it. Thanks - Dave
