Exact same situation.

Decided to go with an FM products 10.5 side charger. My only concern was that the folding charger looks awfully close to the muzzle. If so I will add a short barrel extension. Went with their lower too, the LRBHO is, by all reports, the best in the business. I know what you're thinking, don't need LRBHO. In a classifier with a mandatory reload from empty, means the difference between master and expert.

Decided to go 16" for the same reasons.

OK guys what bolt have you had the best luck with?

Of course Taccom is out of stock on the extension. I got on their waiting list, when I did that for one of their bolts I got email notifications for 2 years after I had already bought one.

So, if I use a 10.5" barrel w a permanent extension (pinned, welded) to make it 16", I could use a rifle lower?

16 " or SBR? What are you guys using? Getting ready to build one.

So I'm guessing that to add 10 + oz, the extended dust cover must be steel?

OK, took 50% off the hammer spring cap and one coil off the spring, took the Xcal to the range and put 200 rds thru it. Accuracy, reliability and chrono testing. After about 50 to shake it down a little put it on a rest. 15 yds sub 1" group, 25 yds 2" groups. Had one stovepipe in the first 50, no other issues, lit every primer (Winchesters). The load for my CZ S2 is an Acme 145 gr molycoated round nose over 3.0 gr TiteGroup at 1.125 OAL, made 136.3 PF. My only issue is the front sight blade is too wide, or the rear notch is too narrow (for me). Ordered a .095 f/o from Dawson Precision (stock is .120 ish). Oh also DA is right at 6, SA just under 2. Think this gun could be a winner.

My Excal was out for delivery today but my FFL dealer decided not to show up on Saturday.

Okay I ordered my Xcalibur on the 17th from Gun Pro Deals. While waiting I ordered a K22 Xtrim from Guns Midwest on Sun the 23rd. The Xtrim shipped before 11 am Monday and I got it today. Still nothing from Gun Pro Deals. I sent them an email and they said it would take 48 hours to respond. Guess where I won't be buying another gun. Anyway on the Xtrim, I cleaned it up and put it on the trigger gauge. The double action pull averaged 6-14 and the single averaged 1-14. This is without a round fired. Hope the Xcal is as good.

Can anybody give me an idea of the double action trigger pull on the X Cal? I see reports of anywhere from 6 lbs acceptable, to 10 lbs, not acceptable. Just bought one from Gun Pro Deals.

They have the Xcal Match in Canada. Anybidy know if it's possible to buy it and have it shipped to the states?

The LTT is the only DA/SA gun I own (several ), That I would shoot in competition AND carry on the street.

With the grips from LTT it is the best feeling Beretta I've ever had in my hands. My problem with the 92 was always that the grips were too thick. Having said that, if you have extra big hands, LOK and VZ offer thicker grips.
