    I understand the appeal process but they used the the testimony of shooters behind the stage line rather than the testimony of the SO standing right over the shooter. It's plain favoritism. Ask the other shooters disqualified on this same stage.

    This smells terribly bad and it looks to me like you can pay a $100 and earn a DM classification in IDPA. Depending of course, on who you are.

    Without that PE Shane beats JJ. Don't think IDPA should be looking for any help from Shane's sponsor.

    Several of the people on here were at the match, competing.

    Plus, it's against the rules.....oh, wait. Talking to the people from the stage, there were others DQ'd for the same infraction.

    No they wouldn't use video they knew that would have upheld the DQ

    So, it could be said that the IDPA really shot themselves in the foot on this one.

    Correct. In their infinite wisdom the "panel" decided two spectators behind the stage line were in a better position to make the call than the SO and Scorekeeper who were standing right there. Nothing but blatant favoritism.

    Yes, seated start. Shooter told the SO "You can do that in USPSA ". Response should have been?

    My take from people on the stage is that an HQ panel used 2 spectators testimony to overturn the DQ.

    He did get a reshoot, he was DQ'd before he ever fired a shot.

    When he came back and shot that stage which was his last of the match, he dropped 9 points, had a procedural and almost lost the match to Shane Coley who by the way should be REALLY pissed.

    He muzzled his leg on a draw. Sponsored shooter of the title match sponsor. ANYBODY else would have been gone.

    Anybody notice that JJ Racaza got DQ'd and then reinstated at the IDPA Nationals?

    Guy at my club shoots it regularly in IDPA matches.
