You couldn't just drill and tap?????
You talking about and RTS2 mount or a slideride mount?
-
Depends. My guns are set just under 1.5. A 3lb trigger would be awful for me. I know at least one top GM who's triggers are set at .9 lbs.
-
Can't a mount that is made for a CMore be cut shorter from the back end and drilled and tapped to accept the DO or Rts
It's possible but a little more involved. Shay has modified a couple mounts. You have to put pins in the mount in the correct location and drill and tap for the larger screws in the proper location.

Scott,
Not dissing in Leupold at all. They are known for quality optics, 'nuff said.
All I'm saying is C-more has been the gold standard for years now. Any company can make mistakes when it comes to developing a fix for an issue, and the evidence points to them fixing all known problems with V4.
I had a Mike at Ohio state due to my dot shutting off (1 of the 2 times it happened, other in practice). If there was any doubt in my mind that my RTS2 wasn't fixed I would be buying a DPP. I might still do that if I shoot open next year.
Just putting my own opinion out there as to what I've seen and heard.
I desperately wanted the RTS2 to work, and I kept trusting the "it's fixed this time" until I didn't anymore

I believe them when they say it's fixed.
Except that they said it was fixed in V1, and then V2 and then V3 and now it's fixed in V4. My DeltaPoint Pros have been 100% since day one. One of them has over 15k rounds on it now. Not to mention IMO, the DPP is superior in several areas and equal in all others.
Shady, are yours the 2.5 dot or the 7.5 triangle?
2.5 dot. The triangle is far too big, IMO

Glad you like the Mk7. Let me know if I can help you in any way.

First issue with the DPP. Well, not the scope but the mount. The Arrandondo mount is too thin. Right screw completely stripped the threads from mount from recoil. There are only 3 threads holding on the mount due to the thin profile of the base.
Pics of new custom mounts coming this weekend. -
IIRC, 124 gn bullets were the most common at Open Nats by a pretty large margin.
Top Bullet Weight 2015 Open Nats.
124... 66%
115... 12%
125... 12%
121... 10%You can basically group 124 and 125 as the same. So 78% to 12%
I flirted with 115's for a brief period and thought they were horrible and the timer verified my thoughts.
What is going on with fonts changing sizes on their own? Must be spooks in the matrix. -
To each his own, but I will NEVER go back to plastic grip. Of course the gun weighs more but the weight is in the correct spot. For me the gun transitions better, and is softer.
My new gun being built is even heavier and shorter. It has a .750 tungsten sleeve on the barrel. -
We should argue about primers now.

Yeah dude... I buy cases, so there you have it. 3k deltas cost the same as 3750 MGs, I ain't asking you homie.
Well, if you are after the facts, and not just argument, then PD discount works on lots of 2000. That means, if you buy 3000, you get 2000 for 8.9 cents ea, but the third one will hit you in the face with its regular price.
The simple way out of that predicament is to buy in even lots. 2000... 4000... 20,000...
Since the shipment is free, you can buy as often as you wish.
Since the PD is cheaper, and I use a lot of ammo in practice, it is an easy decision for me. I truly don't see any appreciable difference in performance, to me they are interchangeable. Match ammo gets the MG's. Easy to tell apart that way, too.
It's even better than that. I just tried an order of 3000, and it came up as $267 ($89/k). Apparently it's $89 for everything after 2000. (I wonder if they have higher-quantity discounts; maybe if you call them...)
They have a pallet quantity (100K) discount that is pretty strong. Get a group buy together! PM me for more info if you want.

In a typical USPSA stage, I don't think PCC will ever beat good open shooters. There will be the occasional stage where PCC will work out better, but Open will remain king.

can anyone give me some feed back on the kit to fit the delta point pro on the rear site, its the only way i can go so if its not lasting i will try and find some one to mill the slide, all MOA block 34's are pre sold coming into australia
will this kit last shooting around 300 rounds every wk
thanks guys
sorry for the repost but i didnt get any replys
thanks for the link but i need to know if the kit will last, some of the dealers here say dont bother as its not lasting long,i will be shooting every wk and this kit is $293 here
Not sure how they know what will last. This dot hasn't been around long enough for much data. If it were me, I would just mill the slide and be done with it. Probable cost less that $293

In every vehicle I buy, immediately.

Any cases hitting the bottom of that mount?
Not even close on my guns. Throws brass 15 over my rt shoulder.

PD are faster and more accurate in my guns.

Hi Everyone. Those who are running the Arredondo mount with the Pro, are you running the 5-40 screws or did you re tap it for the larger Metric screws? I know you have to go to a much longer 5-40 when moving from the original Deltapoint to the Pro and just a bit worried about it possibly loosening. Thanks.
I tapped mine for the bigger screws supplied with the Deltapoint

Most all Akai guns have the stroke length increased.

I just picked up the NIB 7.5 DP pro from garmil in the classifieds. It's gonna go on a DVC open that is on the way. I'm very eager to see how it does. Some of these good reviews have given me a lot of hope!

I think you are gonna find the 7.5 triangle HUGE. I looked through one and it nearly covered the entire A zone at 20 yards. Way too big for me.
