Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I did this mod a while back for a customer that couldn't hear his monitor. I also removed the batteries and tied it into his Skylight shellplate lighting system 110 power supply. (It also still has audible warning.)
  2. I am glad you like it. I always enjoy feedback. I keep my case guage, hex keys and other misc tools in the 2nd bin.
  3. I surely don't have a problem with someone posting a review or documenting their experience with a product. I always take them with a grain of salt because everyone is different and expresses themselves in different ways. But I also listen close and try to learn from them and in turn do my best to improve the design if it can be done. Honestly, the above review/statements leaves me feeling a bit trashed on, because anyone that knows me or my products knows better. This is a brand new gen #1 item and there are always little changes to be made after some real world use by people other than the beta testers. In the design of any item, I think down the road and make serviceability an important consideration, potting the LED to the bushing does not lend itself to serviceability of the LED pod. I am pleased to say that we have had zero failures in regards to soldering across the Dillon 550, 650 and Hornady LNL AP Skylight product lines. They have been well received and are performing well. As usual we aggressively continue to look for ways to improve. A secondary strain relief has been incorporated to help combat against accidental damage/occurrence as Michael experienced. Again, I am not above taking a chewing on something that I should have done a better job on, but I don't think we earned this one.
  4. Lolz....oops! Hit me with an email and I will send you a new short "Ceiling"LED for free if you cover $2.50 for shipping.
  5. It is a patent pending design by myself. Have you contacted Hornady about it? Not yet. As I am sure they are quite aware. It is a disappointing situation.
  6. Hmm......I think you are right. I have seen those somewhere before as well..... "They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"
  7. Hmm.....sounds like Berdan primed stuff. Have you looked down in the case or tried to decap one?
  8. I have both the 650 and LNL. They both require tinkering. It's just the way it is. They ALL need a little adjustment here n there to keep em runnin %100. It's a complex lil machine sometimes issues are compounded by people new to reloading. Hit the brakes, slow down, learn and understand what all's going on before trying to time yourself on how many rounds you can crank out.
