I have had mine for a month or two. I bought some Metalform mags and they work ok (what STI sends with the gun), I ordered an EGW mag release and am waiting on that. I am shooting 180 grain lead at 950 and had some hang ups on feeding the last match I shot during the last two stages. I think the lube, lead and tight chamber caught up with me, I need to run the bore snake thru between stages. I added a Fusion Chainlink mainspring housing/magwell and changed the grips. It really is a tight and accurate gun, I have been keeping it well lubed for the break in period and think it is a great gun. Chainlink mainspring and front strap.

Looking for a gun for the wife and kids I was leaning to the Ruger as I have many Ruger guns, but liked the fit and feel of the Buckmark. It has performed very well and I am happy with the choice. FO front sight, 1911 type controls, accurate, great trigger out of the box, $300 from Sportsmans Warehouse (cheaper than my wholesale price).

I installed a Fusion Chain link Mainspring and magwell combo. The magwell dovetails into the mainspring housing which is nice. The photo shows the mainspring housing on left and front strap on the right. I thought is dressed it up some too. My friend I shoot with started USPSA after shooting Bullseye for 2 years. When I watch him it is interesting to watch his target stare thru the draw and thru the target. I wish I could do the same. It is almost slow when watching but he is not slow. I should try to video it.

It is a golf club regripping trick.

I am shooting right around 4 grains of Bullseye with a lead bullet and it makes major at 950. I think you are too hot with that load.

I am loading the 180's over 4ish grains of Bullseye and it does pretty well in my P16.
