Mine works well.

Is that a roll of quarters in an extension tube? Or are you just happy to see me?

The parallax tactical unit looks like a good buy if it works well. Ever had any adjustment settings work loose on it since it doesn't have a locking set screw?
Not yet, they supply a nice long allen wrench to adjust it which is handy because I have the 15 handguard, rifle gas. I have only had to turn it a half turn from bottom for reliable function, brass piles 8' right, at 4 o'clock. (ignore the steel case).

You said competitors so I am not sure I am qualified to answer but I have this one...

I can stick an adjustable on it but that requires extra work...

Instead of taking weights out of my 5oz rifle buffer can I just try the 3oz carbine buffer without hurting myself or more importantly hurting my new toy?
-
You can "ghost" load it also.
-
I think for load four the Beretta needs work, load two is pretty good. I just took the sharp edges off mine and will probably have the lifter welded.

Now I see the Ontario thing...

I shot a few full power slugs off the bench... and after leaving the dentist's office I looked for some recoil mitigation. This works very well.

It was drop in. I used the KZ 109 and the thin spacer. It did require two washers on the stock screws and some double stick tape as the Kick EEze does not have the sculpted fit like the stock one.

If you plan to use this for 3 gun and add an extension tube, you will not notice a difference between the 18.5 and 21 inch barrels. Some like the fixed sights, some don't. Rose Action Sports (see above) will treat you right if you decide to have it threaded.
-
I went the cheap route and installed a "kickeeze" pad which tones it way down and allowed me to use only one spacer which looks a lot better. I just couldnt pony up the $400 ...

I found everything but with a magnet. I was doing it sitting on the couch watching TV. If my wife came out when I dropped my drawers to see if it got caught in my waistband, I am sure she would have me in therapy.

Same gun except for the bbl/sights.
-
All it does is hold the trigger pin in. A little duct tape should fix it as the bailing wire was too large...
-
I thought so too.

I snipped off a few coils as directed and managed to not shoot the spring across the room. Of course that D ring did not fare so well...

I just installed a 16.5 rifle lenght LW and am pretty pleased with the overall package. I shot a match with it the other day with no difficulty. I am still waiting on my backorder for a low mass bcg, but the standard one worked great. Brass ejects 8 foot right and at 4 oclock in a nice pile. Accuracy is not what my RRA 3 gun barrel would do but pretty good. 100 yards leaned over the range bag.
-
Thanks. Usually I shoots springs across the room.
-
Is there a trick to installation regarding placement on the rib? Mine would be on a Beretta though.
-
How about a tutorial on removing the lifter spring for dummies?

Shotguns are like girlfriends, yours is always the best. Never insult another one's. Sometimes you have to borrow them. They need loving care and attention. If you take care of them, they will take care of you. I love my Benelli and my Beretta. I traded my Remington Tac4, a great starter gun, she's on the west coast now. I have tried many others. I love mine.
With girlfriends you never discuss how much you need to open up the loading port or what it takes to make them competition ready... At least in polite company

I think using a "precision rifle target" helps as well. You align the crosshairs with the targets cross bars and can better hold the gun still. I am having trouble posting an example target off my phone. Adjust the magnification to achieve the best results.
Saw some silly stuff at the pro am today

I think losing control of your firearm is the point. I just looked up the USPSA rule:
5.3.4 A competitor who, for any reason during a course of fire, safely and intentionally places the firearm on the ground or other stable object will not be disqualified provided the competitor maintains constant physical contact with the firearm, until it is placed firmly and in a safe direction, securely on the ground or another stable object, and remains within 1 yard of the firearm at all times.
As far as steel calibration: "all steel must fall" should cover that, unless of course some mechanical factor keeps it from falling.
I agree with USPSA safety rules regarding eye or ear pro. No exceptions. Reshoots don't cost anything. There is RO discretion regarding "gaming", rules or no rules.
