I bought the 20ga version 3020 for the kids to shoot. It looks promising, lightweight and reliable so far. I have not started filing on it yet but may shoot it in a match before I get there.

If you are planning to shoot limited, buy a limited gun and shoot 3gun with it. No downside.
-
Build it on a 10mm Glock for a little more beef, if you are worried about a small frames durability.
-
I load the MBC 180's with 4 grains of Bullseye for major PF. I have another 1k or so of plain lead before I switch over to the coated ones.
-
I just tried out some 140 grain coated lead bullets from Missouri Bullet Company. I quickly shot the 100 count trial pack up and will order 1k when I get around to it. I have shot thousands of their lead bullets without difficulty.
-
What is affordable? I would suggest something in titanium. Plenty to choose from.
-
You can have it dipped also.
-
I wear one of these so not to look goofy...

I shoot 180 grain lead over 4 gr of Bullseye.

9mm offers a few advantages but shoot what you got. I love my limited gun!

Oops moved the files...
Out of the snow bank...
on to the match:

That G40 might be fun with a 40 and/or 9mm conversion barrel.

Well I could not edit my other post so here are my final pics... Still waiting on a gun rack but you get the idea.
Folded:
Naked:
Stuffed: I am still unsure what to carry on the bottom shelf but bungies will keep everything attached.

I am amassing a collection for my girls to shoot as well.

Plenty of room for her stuff when the time comes!

Well the winter is wearing on, so I posted an ad on a local Facebook Marketplace for a big wheel stroller on the cheap. I had a lady offer hers up, she dragged it out of a snowpile and left it by the road for me. Free. Leaves no extra charge. Forgive the mess in the garage...
I stripped off the seat etc and the unit looks pretty sturdy.
I started to mock up the final evolution with cardboard and wood scraps. Here is it with everything temporarily installed. I am still thinking how to do the upper shelf. The Range bag seems to fit better up there, a milk crate or container of some sort may work on the bottom.
I am trying to make it so it will still fold with a few items removed.
So far nothing invested. I have a pair of gun mounts and need a second, that may be the only high dollar item (well $30 anyway).
I tried another variation but don't like the range bag on the bottom. I will probably cut that box to size and put that on the bottom. Mounted the gun rack on one side and it still folds with it attached.

HeMan should stay for obvious reasons, then perhaps "fat and blind" for open, "extra ordinary" for limited, then "ordinary" for factory. Or 8/15/30, 8+/15+/30+, don't forget HeMan and "fat and blind" once again.
So far all I have had to do is cut a 4" dowel for my shotgun tube to make both factory and limited (or whatever the correct name is). I don't shoot "fat and blind" yet but probably should.

In a fit of snow doldrums I changed the drop plates on my shotgun. It does feel and look different now just need it to thaw a little to see if it helps. (Lord knows I need it)

I like my Boonie Packer for my AR.
I guess it is called a Ready Mag

If you can unload thru the loading port, chamber a dummy round an use live shells.

I assume supressors are still oversized comps?

I actually tried straightening the dimples first, ended up dremmeling them but it would have been easier to drill them (in retrospect).
Need loading data for Missouri Bullet company 180 TCFP
in 10mm/40 Caliber

When I get there I will let you know.
