  1. I bought my 650 from them this past spring - they were a big help as I was a first time progressive buyer.
  2. I don't see anything in the rule book at addresses this - I'd say the safety can be disengaged as soon as the start signal goes off.
  3. We used Practiscore for the first time Saturday at Maine Practical Shooters - an iPad was the master and an iPhone and Andriod phone was used on each of the two squads. There were no problems and everyon was impressed at east of use and having no refresh wait as on the Palms. The plan is to purchase mid sized tablets for better viewing and putting wear/tear on club devices. One of the best parts of the system is the one touch posting of the results, then emailing a link to those results to the shooters. Everyone then has access to the full results and can check overall, division and stage standings.
  4. At Maine Practical Shooters we've been using the Palm system the past couple years and will be using Practiscore for the first time Saturday with borrowed iPhones and an iPad - it was easy setting up the match and it looks like registration will be much easier.
  5. I'm halfway through the Richard Sharpe series.
  6. "It's better to light one candle than to curse the darkness".
  7. At our club in Maine we normally shoot Saturday, except during deer season.
  8. I've looked at the stage set up in ExWinScore, and the round count is incorrect. How that happened with the direct transfer from the Palm, I can't guess. I'll make sure I confirm each stage in the future!
  9. At our April match I designed a 9 paper target, 3 shots per target stage with a value of 135 points. After I posted the match results, the stage winner asked why he only received 120 points for the stage. I first checked the Palm, and it was showing 135 points - when I went to the lap top, ExWinScore showed 120 points fo the stage Has any else run into this kind of situation?
  10. Our club has about 20 shooters at a match - I went from a paper system to Palms in July and It made a huge difference. While my fellow shooters tear down , I head to the club house and process the scores. Most everyone stops by on their way out and can see how they did, and I post the results later that day.
