There was only one group that stepped up to run the IRC for 2013 so they got it. If you want the match somewhere else, put together a proposal and you can have it. The match was very close to not happening next year. Thanks to Chris and Dave for stepping up.

Thanks for all the kind words. I was just alerted to this tread while shooting the nationals. I don't want to win unless I earn it. Just because something is correct in the rules doesn't make it right. I just try do what is right.

I love my BMP belt. I will never use anything else.

Jerry M is pushing allowing 8 shot minor in USPSA revolver. I think it is a huge mistake and the only way to compete would be to have an 8 shooter. Jerry wants to shoot minor due to health reasons and I know major can wear on you with the high number of rounds he shoots every year. The nationals we just shot was very heavy in 8 round arrays. Anyone in the top 5 would have dominated the match with an 8 shooter. Many stages would have saved 2 or 3 loads and allowed much more flowing plans. I guess next year will tell us a lot about our future.

I see a lot of guys is driving distance saying it's a good idea. Who wants to fly across the country to shoot a one-day match?? I think we are moving in the wrong direction. I think all the Nationals including SS should be under USPSA control. They have the range out in Vegas for a week. There is no reason they can't run a 30-stage match with 600 or more shooters and rival any match in the world. I don't know why the match has to be split up other than so the same shooter can win more than one national championship. Why not have one big match and let everybody shoot one gun??? I don't know how many stages to expect but I will be disappointed in seeing no field courses.
