Well I fixed the problem. I have 6 words for you. Shock Buff....Shock Buff.... F-ing Shock Buff. Ok thats seven but you get the point. Guess it wasn't letting it cycle all the way threw. Now it runs everything. I believe it was the cause of my feeding problem as well,that I fixed earlier. Thanks for all your help. Hope others can learn from my mistake.I read on hear that they were bad news ,but it worked in my RO. So I just kept using it. What an idiot.

All mags.I have CMC power eight,Wilson 47,and ETM.Do you think shorting my ammo would work.Ill have to try that.I am shooting 200gn swc Bayou Bullits.

I always wanted a Springfield TRP. Now I have one and I cant get it to run reliably.First it was not feeding SWC. Got that fixed ,now when I do a reload only with a full mag and 1 round in the chamber. It fires the round in the chamber then goes to slide lock. It looks like its draging the top round into the slide lock.Ive tried a bunch of stuff, but nothing has worked. Does anyone out in enos land have any ideas. Please save me from myself. Thanks,John

Ok I got it. It was hitting the slide when I was tilting it up.Had to file the top of the dove tail on the slide a little bit at a time tell I could get to the allen screws.Was afreaid to file.First time instaling sights. Sorry panic attack.All good. Thanks John

I am putting Dawson sights on my Springfield TRP. Front went on like it was suppose to. The rear adjustable Novak is not letting me lift it all the way up to tighten the set screws. Does the swivel pin come out so I can tighten them down. I would think that it doesn't. I really need some help and fast. Thanks in advance, John

I have a Springfield RO and CMC mags.The slide is locking back with one round left in the mag.If I take metal off the followers the slide wont lock back? I want to have the slide locking back after the last round. I know alot of guys disengage this function.(Why do they do this?)But I like to have that safty net when I loose count. So am I looking at taking metal off the slide release,and how do I know when Ive taken off enough..... When it works properly? Any advice would be helpfull. I shoot this in Single Stack and CDP. Also want to stay with in the rules. Thanks, 1GUN

I have a Springfield RO and cant seem to get any other mainspring to work.The only thing that seems to work is the stock spring without the mainspring retaining pin. Ive tried different spring weights with and with out thre retaining pin with no luck. I think its either the sear or the searspring causing my frustration but not sure.Any ideas would be great. Do you find the 200gn softer shooting than the 230gn? I find the 230's softer in the BayouBullets. Or is it different in every gun. This is the thing that I find fascinating.What works perfect for one gun and person is the opposite for another. By the way you are the load data guru for every caliber.

Just want to say thanks for serving our great country.Im going to put one in mine before spring.Had serious light primer strikes with a 17lb. main spring in my RO. Had to put the factory spring back in. Its going to the smith in the spring when it does its getting a 17lb back in it.With the extended firing pin.

Thats good to hear. I have a RO I love. I have heard nothing but good things about this gun. But its got serious issues. Will call them tomorrow. They are closed today.

I just bought a SA Micro from a so called friend. He said it only had 50 rounds through it. It's a .45 . Looked like he shot it without cleaning it. I cleaned it greased it up. Whent out and couldn't even get 50 rounds through it. I think I know why he wanted to sell it. It has FTF and FTE 4 out of the 7 rounds I tried to fire per mag. Is this something Springfield will fix for free or am I going to have to send it to the gun smith. One last thing. Is this common for this pistol. Wanted this for everyday carry. Can't use it for that until corrected. Bought a new Chipmacormick mag for it. It did the same things with every mag we used. Thanks for the help.

That two piece will come loose. Would love to here what the Enos universe thinks of these things since i have no experience with either. This gun is for competition only. Got to handle one a month back or so. Did not get to shoot it. I like the ruger better. Better fit on the slide. Same as the other guys stated. Dident like sites or trigger. Those thangs can be easly fixed.
