  1. I do believe the company's are just making enough primers to supply there ammo manufacturing lines instead of for the reloaders.

Why would they do that? Profit is profit.

    A.T.

They make more profit off of selling loaded rounds then just components.

That's silly to even think that.

Listen I can tell even through my tinfoil hat this is happening.

  2. I'm surprised no one has mentioned the upper A zone being synonymous with "ocular window". Considering the martial roots of the sport could it be that the founders simply called it the B zone to accentuate the added value of an OW hit?

It's true the B zone used to be used as a tie breaker, but does that really explain why it exists in the first place?

    HeHe

    He said ocular window.

    :roflol:

Rest of post edited for "combat language"

  3. For me patience is maturity of the mind and closely related to my concept of wisdom.

For some they get it at 12 years old, or maybe in their first year of shooting and others, never.

I remember telling somebody "You need to dumb down your mind". Just trying to get him to get out of concious to the sub shooting with no expectations, judgement or "mind"

  4. My first car was a 1974 Ford Torino that my sister found for me. $300 from one of her co-workers. It was a green 2-door with a 351 Windsor engine. Not a bad car ... but nothing exceptional either. I drove it for about 3 months during the summer of my Junior / Senior year in high school ..... totaled it after a night of *adult* beverage consumption, and sold it a week later for $350 to a guy who wanted the motor for his boat! What a summer, and I made a $50 profit! B)

My absolute *worst* car was a 1980 something Plymouth Horizon. What a piece of crap! I would have gladly traded it for a Chevette. ;)

How bout looking out in the driveway. If you shoot all the club matches next year there won't be any more parts or pieces to fall off

  5. GM was created cause the regular M's were tired of competiting head to head with Pro's like Rob Todd and Jerry.

    Bill's right on

One division heads up. Classes later

The single stack 38 super mentioned was the end of heads up.It wasnt "a created" division. It was one division and it was a race to knowledge. It was a true "racegun"

I remember Jerry being laughed at for bringing a silly red dot to the natls. Then he won and we all bought one. Thats history.

    Limited followed and the rest.

  6. Put neat little .22 holes through non hardened poppers and look over your shoulder for MD and upset club members. Legal yea. The right thing to do?

.22 sized holes aren't legal. That's why I specifically asked about a 9mm AR. I edited my first post to make "9mm" bold.

    :)

Oh sorry missed that. For me AR comes in one flavor. :surprise:

I still wouldn't do it except for laughs

  7. I spoke to the RM last night, and he mentioned that there will probably not be an "official" mag-check (whether on the 1st stage or at chrono) but that it would be up to individual RO's on each stage to question the validity of someones mags if, for example, they shot a 30 round stage without a reload. Then they may want to look closer. :)

All I know is that the penalty is too great to risk using mags and or other eqpt. that might cause you to shoot for no-score at a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP match.

Yes LEAVE YOUR 30 RD Standard MAGS at home, WE ARE ON TO YOU.

  8. Its not a rule. Its free advice to winning. Seen plenty of people lose because they didn't follow it, including some Dayton boys. Oh so panties don't get bunched more than normal I'm one of those boys just learned and learning means not repeating mistakes. ;)

I wouldn't know the signal cause I don't hang around "truck stops"
