Calling a shot is an absolute. You either did or didn't.
No guessing, thinking, hoping or luck involved.
The real twist is most people require lot's of practice and time to be able to do it. You can't just say "today I am calling my shots"
I become "aware" of bullet holes sometimes when I shoot but don't look for them is a shot calling context

Now that is funny. Funny but sad.
Sad ... but true. How are we going to know who's shooting what? Do I have to bring a Prod gun in case Micah goes all Angus on us, as well as my Open gun ??? I vote we all shoot Limited but then, I'm biased.
What about some kind of poll to announce what division we are all going to pick?
My 1st choice would be Limited.

Very cool Julie and ultra cool A. T.
I don't work in a field where 13+ inch hair on a man is appropriate.

I thought he was a lot older, based on his footspeed?
Happy Birthday Steve

Giving a short beep is poor ROing and should be a reshoot.
Shooter AD is always shooter responsibility

Very few A and above shooting minor but your not A so why not? and truthfully you can make M shooting minor or major. Winning M with minor would be a whole new story.

Pick one gun and practice. Learn from somebody who knows what they are talking about. Make a plan and stick to it.

Dont worry bout rust. Oil it if you like. The smith and plating company will bead blast it like new

Day or night ultimately doesn't matter if you are doing the right thing, calling your shot. Could it be that nights are simpler stages or less competition? That's the way I have seen it with weekly leagues. Or maybe you are forced to "aim better" with the decreased light conditions?

More old guys than young. Its always been that way cause it takes money and time to play.
Wanna shoot? Come out most do just that.
Wanna win the Nationals? Get busy.

Well almost ALL of the options mentioned have been around since 2000 and before, and tried, tried, tried. Sideways/upside down scopes, Glocks, Sigs, Shorties, Longies, and the like.
You can make Master with a single stack DA Sig. Why would you is my personal take on all this.
The platform that wins and works is a 1911 single action double stack with a dot. CZ is a great alternative at the lower PF. I am all for innovation and innovation is why that's the winning platform. I don't see innovation changing much lately. Lately being 8-10 years.
When I see a lot of tinkering I think of a guy trying out variations of anything but a four wheeled car. He might be a genus. Might not.

Me too since I pretty much know it all

You can tap the popple holes and screw in some bolts with loc-tite to experiment what it is like without them.
That one always bothered me. Debris collecting in the depressions? Possible weird pressure changes? Accuracy or PF issues?
Don't have proof but I couldn't do it.

Guess I'm the "other guy" Open Master. Let's dance Short Round
No my rounds are "ahem" longer than yours

Great. Good weather n match I can shoot and John is not shooting, sure hope the "new meat" from Dayton is.
Same weather forecasted as last weekend, and as the weekend before. Beautiful shooting weather. Bill, make sure you bring your gloves, hats, scarves, heavy winter coats, parkas, and hand warmers.
Notice I said good match also, I don't get two hours sleep, wake up and drive 150 miles, in the cold, for a 1985 styled club match.
At least I'll be there in Roundtown, home of Ohio's Open M's(John, Chet n other guy)

Self image has a lot to do with good performance.
I am a good shooter. I mean that matter of fact, not with arrogance or ego. Some people read or hear this and get their panties bunched up. Not what I am trying to do. There can be a lot of freedom and progression with a positive self image.

Lately I have been getting my brass handed to me at club matches and it freaks me out a little cause I'm not used to it in the last few years but always appreciate it. I have always picked my Super up and used to look like a "groveler" in those heady days of Pro/Lim growth and free or almost free brass. I remember being on squads leaving 200+ brass a stage and everybody saying "I never pick up brass even in practice." I still shoot with quite a bit of people that leave brass.

Maybe it's not white at all. It's just your perception of what your brain has labeled as white?
What color is an orange?
Aww thats easy, orange, try to write a rhyming song or poem about an orange.

I find cables need to not cross or loop, and unit be as far downrange as possible.

Gremlin?
didn't AMC learn the first time??
As a side note innovation leads to better equipment. We put red dots on guns and were scoffed at by the general gun knowledge public.
Do you every see a soldier without an Aimpoint now? Its definitely caught on with the military and the general public
Both Feet in the Air Fault line Question

What kind of crazy man does that? I heard he did it at Area 5 a few years ago too.
It does relate to the 3 point shot in basketball. If you are not faulting, then no penalty. You have to commit the infraction to be penalized. No room for "intentions and judgement" in USPSA. Seems pretty simple to me.
