  2. Welcome!! Used to live in St. Cloud and SCAPSA was my first club that I joined. Met at the Ground Round there where I was the manager...great group of guys back then in 1991!

  4. Welcome!! When the weather warms up..join us in Plainfield for the OakPark sportsmans club shoots. IDPA 1st sunday and USPSA on the 2nd Sunday.
  5. I am a big fan of the TACHYON XC. for about $100. Shockproof and water proof. Easy operation. Mounted mine on the side of my Muffs. Here is my first video with it
  6. My ffl just told me about OPSC the other day, I guess I missed a meeting yesterday, he was trying to get me sponsered. I'm in Aurora and for some reason never new about the club, thanks for the heads up though! And thanks to all for the warm welcome. Try to get in now!! We capped membership and it is a 2 year wait. I have been a member for 12 years and it has been the best investment of my "fun" money!
  7. Yup, OPSC is much closer. Just don't let John S. come up behind you. BTW: some of the guys there have an indoor IDPA-like match somewhere closer to the city on Thursday nights. I forget what town. Later, Chuck That's at Midwest Sporting Goods but i hear it's by invite only.
  8. Great post...we will all come to this crossroad someday.
  9. Welcome!! I am a member at Oak Park Sportsmans Club that is located in Plainfield. We had a 3-gun shoot in Sept that drew close to 100 shooters. IPSC and IDPA matches during the warmer months. Welcome aboard!
  10. Welcome back pare!!! I also "stopped" and came back!
  11. Aloha from the frozen midwest!!
  12. Good luck on the most addicting shooting sport in the world!
  13. Welcome Pare!! Nice to have other filipino's around!
  14. Welcome to the best shooting forum around.
  15. Welocme aboard..lots of good stuff here!
  16. I installed their ultimate kit and now have a problem with the 2# trigger spring. If you pull the trigger, then cycle the slide, the trigger "sticks" and doesn't reset right away. Shake the gun a little and it will go forward again. Is there something that I am missing on the adjustments or is this a common problem??
  17. Go to Tachyon.com They have a few models. Top Notch service as well. I got the Micro for about $100. I modified the mount to fit on my earmuffs. I think that I will put it on top of my head next time.
  18. I shot my first match with my "completed" Glock 24. I've had this gun in my safe for many years. I joined USPSA last month and was inspired by Micah's post on his G24. I see now that he sold the gun for a great deal to someone. I put in a Glockworx trigger, Heine rear and FO front sight, top glock extended slide and mag release, lonewolf barrel and compeltely updated my CR Speed rig. I had the magwell already but I forgot who made it. Here is my first video shooting the gun along with using the Tachyon XC micro that Micah suggested.
  19. I just got it put in. Fast shipping and good service. Installed with no problem. It doesn't seem to break at 2lbs as advertised. Pre-travel is reduced and no noticeable movement when it breaks. It is not as crisp as I thought it would be but I don't have any other glock triggers to compare to. I do like the look of the silver/red trigger.
  20. Just bought a Glockworx trigger. Full action job for my G24. I'll keep you updated with a report from this weekend. Looks great. Got the silver one to match my silver magwell. Feels smooth and I like the ability to adjust pull.
