Regular Clays, Bullseye, and Promo have all worked fine for me.

Adding stationary weight in the form of full-length and/or tungsten guiderod, heavy magwell, weighted magazine basepads will also helo to keep pistol from moving as much in recoil. One of the biggest issues, recoil-wise, with the M&P is all the reciprocating mass in the slide. Just a hefty hunk of steel. Lighter recoil springs may also help with both reliability and movement in recoil/recovery.

Wont make much difference unless you are at the very top of the max loads which is tough to reach with standard .308 powders. Might add a couple fps, but prob wont be very noticable

Think its 42 or 43 now. Was 41, but they changed it shortly after I finally found a way to shed 1.5 ozs or so.

Agree that its something with your ammo. Could be as "simple" as bullet profile and/or OAL. LOOKS like it could be that the bullet is hitting the top of the chamber in such a fashion that creates too much friction. Jhp's that worked had a round profile and the jacket creates less friction than the softer lead. Before scrapping it, try diff OAL (thinking shorter to start with) and maybe a diff bullet profile.

Seat/crimp dies only pose inconsistency issues with inconsistent length brass. Using it "successfully" depends in personal definition of success and starting components.

I kinda cheated with mine and just slightly compressed the top edge (feedlips) with a pair of pliers until it would drop free. ***Go slowly if you choose this method.

Resurected a 7 yr old thread. Only diff in the actual round is about .2 inches longer case for the 10mm. Bit hotter round though. What early poster was implying was that the two rounds have very similar specs, same bullets, same bore diameter, etc. Please DON'T take a .40 Glock barrel and lengthen the chamber and run 10mm through it.

Might check on mag feed lips before messing with other stuff. They can certainly spread a bit over time. Its a problem Ive encountered a number of times.

Still doesnt directly address the issue with the wall. Ive seen this come up a few times. When the wall is at the front-most end of a COF and shooters have to shoot around it, can the shooter use the wall for support? Only use the sides since the top and bottom are assumed to extend to infinity?

I think its an awesome pic and your PEPR mount should be arriving soon. Looks great. The coatings are cool, but absolutely not necessary if the gun is properly maintained and lubed regularly.

Ive been loading the snot out of it. No issues at all. Anyone who wants to trash theirs, feel free to let me know where you are tossing it. Not a dang thing wrong with it. Maybe not the heaviest or most consistent around, but perfectly serviceable with reasonable major loads.

Prob not the best forum for this type of question. Others geared specifically for this. For the $, the YHM qd cans are the route I took. They have flash hiders and actual comps that work with the cans and have SS and Ti models to suit folk who want a lighter can. Also, they will set you up with different thread pitches on the flash hiders to make possible to use the same can on other sub-caliber arms. Thats just my choice. Plenty of other opinions out there.

Doesnt work that way. WAAAY too many variables.
Pick a load that works in your rifle. Load a bunch of it. Then go to the range and figure out where that load "patterns" relative to your reticle.

I like mine. I agree that the eyebox is a little less forgiving, but I grabbed an extra-exfended mount to get it a little further forward on the rifle and that seemed to help. Im not looking for a different optic at this point.

Midway is usually pretty good with date. They will update if anything changes and give you the option to cancel if you want also.

There have most definitely been at least 2 different followers in the .40 mags. You want the black ones with "40" on them.
