  1. Well consider this, with this idea of fairness. How fair is it to the section champion to not be able to get in to their section championship match? Keith put it well, since this is a section championship the section members are entitled to first shot access.
  2. I use Winchester and Tula in my local matches. They go bang every time, I've yet to have any problems with them.
  3. Put together some 200gr xtreme bullets @1.135 4.8gr autocomp, they chrono'ed at 174pf 5" 2011
  4. I've been using 200gr xtreme bullets. 5.04gr @1.135" is a 172pf.
  5. I use 4.5 - 4.6 WSF to make major. 1.135"oal for my STI edge.
  6. I also am a local to Donnie. I stopped by his shop to pick up some 200's. He had some that he wasn't satisfied with the color and he made me a deal on them. I think Donnie is a stand up guy. he wants nothing but quality associated with his bullets. I know first hand about that. If you are receiving a different velocity with the new coating, make the appropriate adjustments. We all have to make the power factor for the division we shoot. It's not that hard people!
  7. I have a mitchell on my edge and love it. I'm left handed and it makes my reloads much easier than a left side release.
  8. Just finished shooting the gator down in Thibodaux. Give Shay Akai a look. I've found my next gun, 5" sight tracker with STI grip. Shay's guns were sweet to say the least. Crisp triggers, and the guns just felt "right".
  9. If it were me I would just polish the mags and forget about putting something on my mag that with attract dirt and crud when the mag hits the ground.
  10. If it were me I would just polish the mags and forget about putting something on my mag that with attract dirt and crud when the mag hits the ground.
  11. I've had mine for a couple of years. I dulled up the front strap with a knife sharpening stone. Just to take the points off. Feels great now is a sweet shooter.
  12. I shoot an STI Edge, so the length will be longer. When I shot the La Gator in October my load chrono'd at 174PF, 200gr Bayou, 1.185"oal 4.7gr WST. When I was shooting my Glock 24 with a KKM barrel it liked a 1.13 oal. If it were me I would make up some dummy rounds at varying length to see which are the best length for your barrel.
  13. I've gone to a 200gr Bayou bullet over 4.7 WSF @ 1.185 174pf. This was chrono'd at the La Gator last weekend.
  14. I'm going to have to save up my money to get one. I have a buddy of mine who bought a top shot gun S/n 6. What a sweet gun. I for one can appreciate quality. Buy once cry once, but in this case there's no crying. They are worth every penny.
