  1. This is my first year shooting RM3G and I can't wait. Thanks so much Denise for all you and JJ do!
  2. Maybe because I'm looking at it on my phone but which ones are pro and which am?Never mind figured it out. Automatically puts you in AM...
  3. I figured Scott would be running stage 2. Would you want to test the "don't ask to many questions" with him? I wouldn't... Or Nancy. I KNOW I don't want to test it with Nancy!!
  4. Yep. You can go well past 500. No idea what they may have in store for us or which ranges will be utilized. Just say it's possible.
  5. I just read all 7 pages and tried all the links I know of. Where is the application site link?
  6. I would. You can't drive down where the bays are, have to hump gear from parking lot above. The bays themselves are close together, but kind of in groups that are spread out a little bit.
  7. I agree totally! Was my first year shooting it, but did not feel rushed at all, or slighted by any stage! Shooting it in one day was doable and well worth the time & money invested... Not to mention much appreciated by those of us with a 14 hr drive home! No pressure Dean, just sayin' food for thought.
  8. Is this the one where low- mass bolt carriers and 140mm mags make you ineligible for limited division?
  9. Another great chapter in BRM3G history is closed, and once again it did not disappoint for challenges. Weather, shooting prowess and physical condition were all put to the test. Huge thanks to Andy for continuing to provide such a fun match. Props to Nick and the whole crew at Doublestar Corp for being the title sponsor this year. And endless thanks to the RO's and range crew that endured some, let's say, less than favorable conditions to shoot in and then spent 3 more days keep us in line and safe, you guys are the best.
  10. Historically, those were rifle only as rifle and pistol paper targets have been different size. That's how it's been in the past, but I've stopped trying to get inside that evil genius's head so I'll just show up and pay attention to the stage brief.
  11. This is me unslinging a completely empty rifle on 2 stages last year. It is considered a piece of pipe until the mag goes in it. If you drop it before loading it, worse thing that may happen is Brian Vaught will start yelling at you to pick it up and keep going...
  12. This was our first year attending this match, and wow did it ever deliver. I’ve never been a fan of the ½ day format, turns out that’s b/c no place I’ve been to that was doing it has done it right. Larry has the recipe down and it’s awesome! I shot more side matches in one day than I’ve shot combined at other matches. Target presentations were great, I simply chose to shoot a few of them less stellar than others. Larry mentioned the new MGM flasher design at the shooters meeting, but holy smokes... First rifle target of the match for me was the 100 yd flasher on stage 9. I had the scope on 6x and when that thing rocked it freaked me out and I seriously thought it was gonna go around like a spinner. Those things are incredible. Just a super fun match, beautiful weather and time well spent with some fantastic friends. Excellent job by the entire staff, FNH USA reps, Linda and sponsors that were out there helping us have fun. Thanks to all of you.
  13. Good information, and I never would have thought. Thanks guys.
  14. Thanks Eric. Sounds like typical reloading trial and error...
  15. Did some searching and didn't find much on primers. Looking at starting to reload 12ga. I'm not a big fan of CCI primers for pistol reloading due to hardness, but the 209's have served me well for my muzzleloaders. Is there a preferred SG primer among the reloaders? Winchester and CCI seem to be the most readily available.
  16. Awesome! Not that anyone cares, but I like that change. Same here!
  17. Big thanks to Dean for putting on the match. Getting it all in yesterday was an excellent call. This was my first year at this match...pretty humbling to say the least. THANK YOU to all the RO's, matches wouldn't exist without volunteers to put up with us & you guys were GREAT! Please remember to send a note to all the sponsors, pretty impressive table.
  18. Dean's post #104 still holds true and trumps rule 6.3.2.6 though correct? Just making sure before I show up and go searching for a Home Depot to buy a wooden dowel
  19. First time at this match. Wife is on a different squad. What's the range/stage layout situation? Are things close enough we can both centrally work out of one vehicle or do I need to pack ammo load out separate so she can bum a ride with someone on her squad to whatever stage they're going to?
  20. Rich- Were those slugs or buck on the SG targets on stage 5? Awesome design on that...it looked FUN!
