So I shouldn't ask who is getting voted off American Idol tomorrow?
What is American Idol?
In our world, I'd have to say TGO. :roflol:

I have a left handed Limcat, and I love it. You won't be sorry, and of course Shooters Connection is where I'd tell you to buy from!

Para Warthog in 9mm is a nice little piece, too, just FYI.

I got to play with this gun a little this past Sunday. Very light and easy to move around. It's substantially lighter than my Open blaster..... and cool looking too!! I prefer the heavier gun, but if I was wanting one lighter, I'd certainly say these are definitely worth considering. Lee had that Cheshire cat grin going the whole day.

Life member here, too.

Another way to help is for you to adjust your wifes C-More and not tell her.
Man, I don't want to get KILLED you know........... :surprise:
-
If you cover the front of the lens on the C-more (or any dot sight) your dominate eye can no longer see the target but will still see the dot. The non-dominate eye can see the target but not the dot. If you are using both eyes, with a sight focus on the target (opposite of iron sights, which should be focused on the front sight), your persistence of vision will see the dot superimposed on the target. Great way to force you to use a target focus with a dot gun becasue if you use a sight focus you will loose the target.

Thanks. I sorta recall it was something like that, and what I think I need to do, but I have slept since then...so the reminder is appreciated.

I swear that my vision is half my problem, at least. Sometimes I see three guns and two dots, and sometimes the other way around......... and of course I've had times when I see no dot at all, but that's usually the battery.
-
Ok, tell me again the trick on covering the CMore and what it does? I find myself still tending to shoot by looking at the dot and not the target..... and I'm trying to figure out a better plan. I'd like to beat my wife on a stage or two now and then, just for ego's sake.

Jane,
What days/time does the camp run? We have a USPSA match in Tyler, TX on Sunday mid-day.....if your class is done, come over (it's roughly an hour-ish or so) and play!! Best of luck in the class, too!!

Al,
You know MY answer. 4756. I've got almost everyone switching. 8.4g, 124g MG JHP, load to 1.235. You just want me to load you up some more, don't ya?

Damon,
Not shooting the DTC this year, so I won't be there this time. Best of luck to you!

Yeah...........switched to the Smith & Wesson M&P and the problem went away.

Area 4. The Dec match. 26 degrees. COLD. Titegroup. ( For those who say it isn't temp sensitive, I say "read this"!) Chrono 164.97. MINOR.
Go back later in the same day after it warmed up and re-chrono'd, for piece of mind. 166. Major. DOH!
Lessons learned: don't cut it so close to the PF ( my chrono showed this at 169, but it was a shooting chrony--not an infrared CED) and make SURE you know your load under all conditions
Switched powders to VV n320 after that.........
Of course, I shoot Open now and make 174 easy. Comp likes it. No worries on minor, either!!!!

Resolution for year was pick a gun and stick with it.......... so far, 3 months and haven't broken it. Open for me.
-
Shoot both, pick which one feels better for you. Practice a lot with it. It's tough to ask people opinion, it's a lot of the Ford. Vs. Chevy Vs. Dodge thing...... get what works for you.
And the answer is DODGE of course, HEMI power. ;)

I've found that SingleStack ( the good ol' 45) and Open, believe it or not. I was getting pretty bad tendonitis shooting Limited 40, and now it's all but gone away since I made the switch.

Montana Gold. Switch and be happy.
-
Just another quick note: if you haven't already purchased the Glock, give the M&P a serious look. I'm a southpaw, and I have one and that's one of the features I like best....... plus the interchangeable backstrap. Good option to think over.
Best of luck!

If I see Ken this coming weekend at Tyler's match, I'll grab him and try to get an update.

Tonight I was cleaning my Open gun, been about 600 rounds since I did it last, and got to thinking. How long do you go between cleanings? Basic field strip cleaning? Total tear down and deep cleaning?
Joe W.
I try and clean my open guns about once a month, or 500 rounds, whichever comes first. Field strip, usually. Every 1000 rounds or so will pull firing pin, extractor, etc.
Total breakdown--- I have my gunsmith give my guns the once over about twice a year.
-Mike
PS...I'll admit to not enjoying to clean guns.
-
They sold me a replacement unit at their dealer cost..........which was about $425, just FYI...........
