    CZ 40 P

Nothing! I have had my SP01's for about 2 years. First a factory SP01 then I upgraded to a Shadow Target. I had the opportunity to buy a 75 about 6 years ago and passed on it, now that I'm in the know I cant believe I let myself do it.

    CZ 40 P

Found a CZ 40 P locally, I really enjoy my SP01 Shadow Target from the Custom shop and am looking to add a few more CZ to my stable. Should I consider this one? Their is one for sale local to me. Seems like reviews are mixed at best. 4 mags and 100 rounds for 400 bones. I havent seen it in person yet.
  3. I was unaware that when a big time author has a co-writer he/she becoming the editor. I guess it makes sense, fame sells even if the product is sub-par, which is has been in the last 2-3 clancy books.
  4. 4.5 and a 230 is what Ive always used too. Usually berrys. Ive used this on lead too
  5. Just finished reading this a few nights ago. Its a good story about events that are not all that far-fetched (He seems really good at telling the future at times) I really enjoy Tom Clancy as an author, and I do like reading the new ones that he is putting together with co-authors about Jack Jr. and The Campus. But it seems to me that his books lack the depth in the story that his earlier books contained. Am I imagining this? I suppose its not all that suprising he published The Hunt for Red October when I was 2, and thats a long time writing books. Anybody else think that Adam Yao will become a part of the campus staff in the next saga? Im going to guess yes.
  6. I use a tube style system currently, at some point ill probably break down and buy a MBF. The tubes are okay but a collator is where its at.
  7. I figured I should update with an outcome. It took me forever to update because it took me forever to send the upper in. Total time once shipped was 2 weeks door to door. They didnt offer much of an explanation, I was hoping for some details as to what they saw wrong with it because Im a nerd at heart.
  8. Thought I would update this. Stag replaced the comp and the barrel no questions asked.
  9. Do you have room on your press to run a M die? can flare the case just a bit before seating/crimping.
  10. My personal favorite line is: Nice marmot man (after ferrets get tossed in the tub)
  11. It can have a bullet feeder but doesnt come with one by default. The ammo plant does but that package comes with a lot of other parts as well
  12. Well, I contacted Stag and sent them the above photo, they have a shipping label and RMA en route. They said they wanted the whole upper back to take a look at what happened. Thanks for the great customer service Stag!
  13. Ive had a surefire brake on a 16 inch gun before and liked it, maybe I will just scrap this and go that route.
  14. Putting this up to see if it happened to anybody else. Like it says in the title, Im not blaming Stag Arms. To me it looks like bad metallurgy in the bar stock the brake was machined from. The points where the metal broke appear to be sheared off not torn like a bullet strike. I was at the range today working on reloads and second mag in this happened at some point. I didn't even notice it until I was empty. http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh278/mjs_408/2012-11-07_20-13-38_350.jpg
  15. Bumping this because I see they just got cheaper. Ive been told that companies are clearing out PMAGs due to a new revision coming out soon.
  16. I have never messed with 9mm lead bullets. But on my 45 hornady bullet feeding die, I opened the collets up to feed the larger OD lead bullets. I have had mixed results sometimes they work okay, sometimes they stick.
  17. So any guesses on what was watching Carol from the bushes? I already have a dislike for the Governor and I haven't even seen the episode yet.
  18. If you enjoy The Walking Dead, The book World War Z is actually well wrote and a good read (for a zombie book) Its put together as a series of short after action type reports that eventually tell the whole tail.
  19. When the show first came out, I was skeptical to say the least. Now Im hooked. Every time I watch an episode I question the size of my ammo stores! I wonder when Meryle is going to make his return
  20. Not in upside down. The B die is tight and when I try and open it up,it contacts the feeder die on its ID. I can get them to fall through when the B collet is sitting on the bench, just cant get it to happen while in the die body. I plan on messing with it more tonight. Anybody want to measure the OD of the B collet at the top of it?
  21. I have it set currently at between .383 and .387 for the few I measured. I reset it up as I tore the powder measure/PTX and the bullet feed die apart and cleaned everything. Still not getting a bullet to feed. My bullets measure .355 with a high quality caliper They are plated, but that shouldnt matter the collets are stamped .355. I guess ill keep messing with it. Frustrating because of the ease 40 and 45 were set up.
  22. That would be the Prairie Dog Special/Tactical. He can do it any way you want from straight out of the mold to custom paint/ add weight, adj. check piece. If you search around the net you will find a lot of favorable reviews of stockade.
  23. I am setting up my 9mm bullet feeding die, and it is driving me crazy, I cant get it to stop deforming case mouths. Its rolling the edge or completely tearing the case. I am running a powderfunnels.com PTX die. That expander has worked flawlessly with 40 and 45. When you bell the case mouth, do you use way more than you think is necessary, or am I missing something.
  24. They are made for plated or jacketed bullets at .452 Ive ran berrys and precison delta through mine no problem.
