I agree. ICORE changed the SW Regional to a one day match. I'm not happy about it. I've already got a VRBO so I'm in for a penny, in for a pound.

What numbers are you seeing up in Mesquite for your ICORE matches?

In my revolver, plated bullets are faster than jacketed bullets, and coated bullets are the fastest.

I think those John Wick movies help USPSA more than ICORE. Every time there's a new one, I see new kids at the range. What's a good revolver movie? The Sunshine Boys ? Grumpy Old Men ?

I'm pretty lucky, I had a good stash of primers to start with, then traded a guy some shotgun ammo for another 5,000. Then found some at Bass Pro in Mesa AZ for 90 bucks a thousand. They're never going to be $29 again. Well, maybe if gas goes back to $3 a gallon

Last year's SW ICORE Regional in Mesa AZ had 105 entries, this year it's 50. What's going on? What's changed? No primers? Cost of ammo? Cost of gasoline? Nobody loves me anymore?

I placed my order on March 31st, and got them today, April 15th. So that's not too bad. I ordered 2800 .358 bullets for $275 plus $17 shipping. The website said if I ordered $25 more, I could get a 10% discount. But every time I added more bullets it doubled my shipping. I finally added 2 $13.50 bags of 100, which put me over $300 and didn't double my shipping. So I went from $275 + $17 ( total $292) for 2800 bullets, to $288 total for 3000 bullets. It's wonky, but it works.

I'm wearing leopard print chonies, does that count?

My 627 has a stainless steel cylinder. My 929 is titanium I think.

Here's my completely unsolicited suggestion for the SW Regional. Since the average age of ICORE members is gotta be in the 60s or 70s, cut the match back to 10 stages, and give everybody a partial refund. 12 stages in one day in the Arizona sun will be brutal. I doubt I can make it, and I certainly won't be signing up for next year. With 12 stages, prize table and awards it's going to be a 14 hour day. Well be lucky to get out of there before dark.

Beats me, I just got the above email from ICORE. That's all I know. As of now there's less than 50 signed up. No idea if that plays into it.
