  1. good question I have also seen the local venues "giving away" the glock 37 and have been thinking "what can I do to make this gun not suck?" I wonder If Lone wolf or any of the others has intentions of making a caliber conversion kit? if it's even possible, I looked at the breech face, and..........????? anyways don't wanna steal the thread, but is there anything you can do w/the G37?

  2. G-man, was it supposed to be a nine major gun? that mwent minor, I have also noticed that all teh glocks trying for 9mmm Maj don't run 100 % which is one of the many reasons the "op" gets my vote for 40.....

  3. yes I understand a 24 has a six inch barrel, but two things, 24 no longer widely available, and 2nd the advantage of having a stationary sight. (or perceived advantage), like I said not really interested in owning one, but was interested in legality of Ltd division, so if my Buddy Corey shows up to a match w/one and is registered in Ltd, I can scratch it out and write Open, thanks

  4. not really interested in building this gun, but after seeing it in this months front sight magazine, in the glockworx ad what looks to be a "sight tracker" of sorts, has a G22 w 6 " barrel and maybe a threaded? slide extension w/stationary sight blade? just curious if this is legal in Ltd class, or if it would be considered open ???

    either way looks kinda cool.

  5. I say build the 40-after you "master" the dot, and feel the mag capacity is slowing you down, buy another glock and build it 9mm.....but if it turns out you don't "dig" open. you can still use you G22 for IDPA, or anything else and sell the dot, another consideration would be the Carver comps also.

  6. Note: merged threads.

    I searched around a bit and didn't see where anyone had asked, so here goes:

    does anyone use a CR Speed WSM II holster w/their Open glock using a Carver scope mount? the one that attaches to the rail system? It looks like it might interfere quite a bit?

    thanks

  7. sorry-

    I played this game last year vise/vice whatever big mallet etc. prior to the WSSSC in ARizona, I finally called Wilson, tech support, or whatever, explained what was going on.....long story short, I mailed him 8 old wilson 47d, and got eight new 47d in the mail maybe a month later? problem solved.

    best of luck!

  8. The summer 2010 San Diego Steel match will be held on Saturday, July 31st at the North County Shootists Association Range. This match features six challenging stages of steel targets (poppers, Texas stars, plate racks, etc.), with a total round count of 175-200 (but bring extra, steel is very unforgiving). Pistols, shotguns and rimfire (.22) are welcome. All USPSA divisions and safety rules recognized. Food and drink will be available for purchase at the range.

    We had a great turnout for the May 2010 match with 80 shooters competing.

    10mm=.3937

    50mm=1.968

    120mm=4.724

    35mm=1.378

    17mm=.669

    54mm=2.126

    108mm=4.252

    47mm=1.850

    57mm=2.244

    105mm=4.133

    35mm=1.378

  10. while I won't bother arguing the why's and who's and what size box, I will say this, the 24 is a fairly desirable pistol, you could easily sell it and fund a g17 build for 9 major
