  1. Mine did that once a few months ago, kept putting in fresh mags and they fall right back out. took about three before I realized what happened. fooled around with it on a safe bench during the match didn't see anything wrong with the catch, just figure it was a fluke. curious what you figure out, I was thinking maybe a stiffer spring?

  2. I am currently shooting L10, because I got a slot for Natls L10/Open and I normally shoot single stack so it was easy to buy the 10 rd mags, and be competitive.

We need the division for a few reasons: new shooters with single action type guns that max capacity at 9/14 rounds just are not competitive in limited. and if they are new shooters shooting .40, or .45 they are likely shooting major PF, and should be given the advantage of the points difference.rather than forced to shoot minor in production division, also the gear, we have lots of new shooters show up with a holster a mag pouch and use front and rear pockets for extra mags, this is not legal in production.

6" barrel single stacks? bull barrel single stacks?

browning HP? CZ ? sig 220 division would make for a much larger Membership card

at the end of the day there is usually ten times as many shooters in L10 division than Revolver, and we still love that division (myself included)

  3. I have done something similar in the past, and the only complaint I got was from the open shooters saying very difficult to find the dot on the red poppers, I was shooting open also, and had no problems, but I can see how the time of day and factor the sunglare might oppose a challenge, but I say go for it.

  4. Although I have no actual Toyota experience, I do have 20 plus years working on general Motors Vehicles, A few questions I would have would be:

    1. Is it an interference type engine( valves could hit pistons, if out of time/belt breaks etc.)

    2. how was the compression test performed? (fuel system disabled properly, so as not to wash the rings with fuel, throttle body held wide open to allow proper intake)

    3. was a "wet" compression test also performed? (normally adding a small amount of oil to the cylinders)

    4. Was the timing belt possibly installed "180 out" meaning it was not on #1 top dead center (oops, and my best guess)
