  1. I have searched and searched, and have not found an option to get decent sight system on my beretta 92fs.

I want to have something similar to the sevigney sights on my glocks, thin front fiber optic, and wide rear black serrated,

the front sight is part of the slide, would it be possible to mill flat and weld a front sight that accepts fiber optic rod? and still be production legal?

is it too thin to mill dovetail?

I see LPA has a front sight that lays over the existing front sight, that is pinned on, could this be modified to accept fiber?

    thanks

  2. so after researching all 3 pages on here in Beretta forum, hahaha did not really find what I was looking for. I have 92fs model and want something like the sevigney front fiber optic, and rear black serrated competition sights I have on my glock pistols- what are my options and keep in mind I need to stay production USPSA Legal, but do not care about IDPA Legal, as I shoot REVO in that game. Also not opposed to replacing the slide (if I can find one) and stay legal, thanks.

  3. I read the article, as well as the rag, cover to cover, and was not very excited, I normally shoot SSR, or BUG(Glock 27 w/factory ammo) when shooting IDPA< I think they need to let the REVO divisions stay the same, however they need a BUG division that is recognized at normal matches, that would bring out all the "carry guns" I guarantee you would begin to see the J frames come out of the woodworks if they knew they did not have to compete against the 686 etc. also see alot more of the "sub-compact" pistols that we all carry, I do not think I have ever "carried" my G35 w fiber optic sights concealed.....but I see alot of them at the IDPA matches, w 125 PF ammo.....also I feel that anything w 165 PF should be allowed in CDP.

  4. I like the front strap of the pistol to be parallel to teh belt, and dont really care about how high or low, as I use a "scoop" draw, I just keep it in the same place all the time, fairly low, but with the amount of surrender starts? and Table starts etc. I don't think it matters.

  5. I was looking at a Taurus pt92, just to have as a backup, for my primary production gun Beretta 92fs, is this a good idea? or should I pay a few bucks more for another beretta? also could I install a beretta mag catch into the taurus and have it accept my beretta mags?

    thanks

  6. amazingly enough I have very little if any lead fouling in the barrel, also the comp is very clean as well. just thinking maybe something else would shoot flatter? thinking of trying out some blue dot?

  7. I have a G22, wJager 4 port Comp, 13# recoil spring, and slide ride optic, I am runnning:

9.4 grains HS6, under 140 grain Bear Creek Moly coated bullet,1.135 OAL have not chrono yet, maybe next weekend. But feels good and almost flat.

  8. well.....I just read through about 45 minutes of posts w/no real conclusion.....DEJA VU I just read another IDPA Rule qustion the other night....again w/no clear undersatnding of right or wrong. beginning to see a pattern. Oh well I will continue to shoot IDPA w/SSR and have fun doing so.
