  1. hmm. my "govt LE" mags have #4 followers and w/dawson bases takes quite a bit of "tuning" to get 18-19 my latest gen mags have #8 followers and w/dawson pads and very little "tuning get 20 reloadable no problem-as far as "ejection goes, I have not noticed any difference between the two

  2. I keep six on the belt, one in the gun and wear cargo pants w/one in each cargo (for balance I guess), nine total, and this past January Arizona WSSSC match, I almost used em all!I came outta the gate tripped a little and one flew outta the pouch onto the ground, then I fumbled a reload, onto the ground a few seconds later, then there was this popper.....anyways it was somewhat re-assuring knowing that I still had options, so it didn't really slow me down, but I ended up slidelock on the last mag in my pouches

  3. I guess this makes 4 cents, but in my experience w/another gun I had fiber optic front and rear and was a little distracting to find the front sight, given they were all red, but that was my experience, currently all guns have red front black rear. or sometimes green/yellow front black reat if mainly indoors shooting

  4. I have had the TFO sights, in under 6 months I broke/lost the front fiber optic rod, which is not readily replaceable, they did replace the sights for free, warranty, but it tokk a few weeks and I had to remove the sights from the pistol to send them in, on the other hand I have regular fiber optics on another gun that I shot through a port and on recoil it broke the front sight rod, I went to the safe area and added a new piece of rod, problem solved- as far as indoor poor lighting I feel a "dawson" or similar fiber front, and a TFO both w/green fibers appear to be about the same, it is only when I run a REd fiber I feel the TFO has an advantage-also the TFO is much larger.

  5. EXACTLY, what I am after- BTW have the newest copy on my coffee table at home :)

I would be interested in some actual photos of some nicely made up targets, for our indoor range I saw a few nice ones that had a no shoot and 4 targets on one stand, I might use next week, but always looking for more ideas

    thanks

  6. I just got done participating in the WSSSC a few weeks ago in Phoenix, and do not feel it would have been an advantage to have the DOH like previously mentioned there are enough gun on table/surrender starts that it would not make much difference, but if it is allowed in production......maybe it should be in SS also either way I don't think if I was allowed to shoot Open at the SS match I could have beaten Taran, Rob, Angus........you get the idea

  7. I have been searching for several days on these forums and can' seem to find any rules for the USPSA paper targets, as far as: how much can be covered w/no shoot, how much has to be exposed, also does there need to be a visible divider between targets when shared on a stand? if I am in the wrong sub forum, please point me in the right direction, thanks
