The guys from E/506th were true warriors. Jumped in on D-Day and took the Eagles' Nest leading to VE Day, surving Bastogne, Carentaan after getting through Taccoa.
Just incredible and to be a part of the US in WWII when somewhere around 1 million people volunteered to go to war, compared to today is simply a different time and a different world.
RIP Airborne! All the way!

Sometimes. Shooting through a mask isn't that hard.

Remington primers aren't bad if you want to cut the crap out of your breechface from gas leaking around them (38 Super/old power factor...ask me how I know).
Contact Bobby at Freedom Gunworks as I think he's got Federal Small Pistol primers.

I vote for a grenade at the bridge. Burn that (*#@&$#@( to the ground!

If you want to do it, then do it. I say make yourself a complete/well rounded shooter and your GM card will just happen.

Apparently it's a theme on these boards.

I totally almost brought my Rydon's too for the Team. They didn't make it to the chapel though.

SFC Hampton,
Any chance of using the sniper town/upstairs hide position like y'all did in 2007 (I think)? Not in love with using the M24, but being able to engage multiple targets in a "city" environment would be fun.
After that, grenades are always good. 240B or a 249 wouldn't be bad (vehicle mounted of course). I'm pretty sure that you can borrow a pintle mount from your UH-60 guys, make a mock, UH-60 window and cabin door. Engage with 240B and then exit the helicopter through the cabin door with your rifle loaded and pistol holstered & cold. Engage multiple targets with rifle and pistol. Some simulated artillery and/or smoke would be good.

So when are one of you high speed machinist types going to make a scope mount for the M&P and get away from the slide mounted goofiness?

Hopefully Bobby is on that list to get them. I might have to pickup a sleeve or two.

Thanks guys (and Mrs. Susan) on the support and kind words (and the jokes ). It definitely was a big deal and couldn't exclude my BE.com family.
Stefanie really appreciates it too and is never not amazed to the extent at which we're bonded and that we're "dorks" with one another. Y'all are definitely some of the best people in the world.
I'll post pics later this week when I get some images up. We have a bunch from the ceremony and then afterwards at the Bellagio and in front of the Vegas city sign.
Reception was at Gameworks if anyone is curious. Yep...played Police 911 for hours (almost as good as the IPSC video game).

Actually it sounds more like Open division to me. Don't know if you can put a light on your open gun though (see Wakal's magazine mounted light). I know you can put a laser on.
No need for it as there is a division in USPSA/IPSC that will fit the bill (IPSC Production IIRC has no mag restriction).

So now that my Chemistry mid-term is done (Thursday). Worked on a bunch of Sociology work (will finish tomorrow morning/night). My semi-bachelor party and Stef's semi-bachelorette party (did it together) are in the can. It's time to get to the gettin'!

All kidding aside, I'm blessed to have found my best friend and she happens to be the woman I love, am going to marry and spend the rest of my life with. Plus...she tolerates our shooting addiction(s).
That's my weekend. We'll post pictures later. It'll be on the 'net this evening at our chapel's website (Little Chapel of the Flowers) if you're curious.

$3500...wow.

JP Hammer & Trigger w/ the light yellow springs. I swap the springs about every 10-15k but that's just me, not the gun needing it.

Pretty sure Brian brought this up in a fraud alert that I think he was not paid for it.
Bottom line is to get the money in the bank FIRST.

Larry's got it and between him and Mrs. Cazes they know.
Don't let the fun police scare you away, just don't make it a business without going through the proper steps.

Ditto to what cousin Sterling said. Bullets are the easy part to the reloading equation with regards to finding stuff.

Shooter shooting production, gets bumped to open
in USPSA/IPSC Rules
Posted
First, the assumption is that the guy is using minor power factor ammo (i.e. see Wakal's post on Page 1) in Production. What if they're using 45 ACP ammo? Factory ammo would easily make major and since all scoring in Production is minor, what their ammo does is immaterial.
So he gets bumped to Open. Declares major, as he now has the opportunity to do so. Makes perfect sense to me that it is do-able. Likely? Not very, but possible.
