All I can tell you guys is that I e-mailed him, he sent me a price for the dies I wanted and a mailing address. Mailed out a check and like 2-3 weeks later, the dies showed up on my door.

You're going to be in Vegas in September. Weather is a VERY small factor.
Just think about what you take and decide if it's what you pack or what you buy. Frankly, no matter how cold it is I can shoot in shorts, so that rules out any additional clothing south. Throw a light sweater/wind breaker for chilly mornings (that will warm up). Wal-Mart has Gun Scrubber/CRC Brake Cleaner (same stuff IMHO) and pretty much every other doo-hicky we need.
When I roll in to a town, first stop is Wal-Mart for the items mentioned above, can of brake cleaner, small bottle of Hoppe's #9 and some patches. I've yet to find a Wal-Mart (even in California) that didn't have this readily available.
You'll be fine. You need about a gym bag worth of clothes for the match. It's only what 3.5 days? Same as any Area or some Sectionals.

Don't overthink it. Nationals is nothing other than a big club match. If you're prepping for it any different, maybe your club match prep needs to change?
Seriously though. You know what you need (to shoot the match). Everything else is flare.

Super Sniper has a 3-9x FFP with 0.1 MRAD adjustments. Can you believe it? These guys have a FFP, mil/mil scope and getting one out of Leupold is an act of Congress!

Yep.

What you take with you:
- Gun, mags, ammo, eyes, ears, belt (inner), holster (outer belt)
- Range bag, extra batteries, tools, spikes, timer, etc.
- Laptop, reading material & MP3 Player
- Wallet, Cell phone, charger, checkbook
- Personal hygiene/meds items and all reservations documents
What you buy when you get there:
- Stop at Wal-Mart:
* Styrofoam Cooler
* Consider picking up a folding chair
* Snacks, case of water, ice
* Anything else you need/want (sun block etc.)
* Baby wipes (or the Dan Carden bottle of magic happiness)
My usual "load out" for a pistol match:
Bag #1: Rolling duffle that cost me $40 at Target
- Holds range bag, pistol and ALL shooting related gear
Bag #2: Regular gym type/over the shoulder bag
- Holds clothes, ammo and everything I don't want to carry on the plane
Bag #3: Backpack (carry-on)
- Laptop, MP3 player, reading material, cell phone, wallet, doc's (travel light)
Fly Southwest, no extra bag fees and have fun!
Rich
ETA: Everything you bought at Wal-Mart doesn't go home with you. No point as it's served its purpose.

Paper: Shortest distance = Arm's length ; Max distance = There is none and 50 yards IS a standard exercise.
Steel: Shortest distance = 7 meters; Max distance = There is none, but be able to hit a steel plate at like 15-20 yards and you'll be fine.
Welcome aboard.

His 2 restaurants out here are great too. I'm partial to Tex Wasabi

Casino El Camino
Green Mesquite
Maria's Taco XPress
Got these off of the Triple D page. When in doubt, say what you will about the guy (no pun intended), but Guy Fieri hits some great places.

I don't know it the best drill, but it works well for me.
Take 1 target and start at 5 yards. Draw and shoot 6 shots the the upper A/B zone in 6 seconds. Once you can get all your hits 3 times in a row, move back 1 yard and repeat until you find the distance you can not get your hits in the 6 seconds. Simple, but not easy.
I like this a lot. Baby steps.
After many rounds of ammo, I'm stuck doing Bill Drills at 50. One of these times I'll get it.
Dry fire is a huge help, but you've got to be honest with what's going on with your sights when you are dry firing. Learning to call your shot is a key too.

Simply awesome!!!

I'm a big guy and can easily conceal a G34.
I still say 19C as an overall, but there's nothing wrong with a 17 either.

Save your dollars ('cause pennies ain't gonna get it) and basically, I'm looking at the 5.5-22x50 mil/mil and probably FFP.

I have both, but prefer the non-padded.

Black magwell and a yellow anodized trigger.
Done.

Exactly the right scope Bart.

Stop going, start your own club and get sanctioned by whatever organization you want.

On my little rifles, I use a VTAC. Found NOTHING better.
On the big rifles, I am loving my TAB Gear Sling.

There's a video on YouTube showing guys in the 82nd (my Division) doing a 3-Gun match down in Kandahar.
Bunch of Guardsman so bored that they're putting together a 3-Gun match for the 6 months that they're deployed. MOB/DEMOB doesn't count.
I'm kidding. Take care boys and come home safe.

I got the same thing Mike. Basically played with some "snap shot" type drills and found that I was able to pick up the dot at > 1x.

G35 for 3-Gun is easy. Magwell is personal preference. All the other doo-hicky's are personal preference.
Frankly, replace the sights with some good adjustables, get a trigger job on it and call it done. If you really want a magwell, I'm pretty well in love with the JP that's on my carry/night stand G22. For competition, going with the Seattle Slug and probably CGR's brass magwell would do the trick too.

You cannot ship a serial numbered part (i.e. the lower) to someone directly.
That said, there's some weirdness with someone needing to have a "California FFL". I'm not clear on it, as I've not run in to it at all.
That said, call CA-DOJ and they'll clear it up.

Super Sniper's Smokin' Leupold....

Doesn't suprise me as in the few SS scopes I've played with, they are not bad. The line that I remind folks about them are that they are a great scope in that price point, but not a great scope. That said, I'll probably be putting it on my soon to be practice rifle. The Leupy that's on my 308 will probably go to the 6 Ackley and then Nightforce on the 308.
