Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I use a Limcat and all of my Paras work with it. As theotherErik said, you have to use the other insert.
  2. I use the Limcat. I like it but it does have to be "drawn" straight up or your screwed.
  3. Bill, You have seen me shoot. Should not be long before she starts beating me. See you at Area 8. Not sure about the steel match yet.
  4. Rob, same as always....Not a damn thing, I wouldn't want to loose my girlish figure I have worked so hard to build. Chris.....only if the shelf was empty!
  5. Yes that is funny Rob. Unfortunately not many folks. However, at least my shotgun works HA! (Edited by Tony Chiavacci at 9:22 pm on Jan. 14, 2003)
  6. What ever you do you don’t want 16”. It will be very tough to make minor with it. I like 20”
  7. What ever you get keep the Glock. Good house gun and you can use it down the road for production. I am partial to the Para's but I'm sure many here would point you another way. The nice thing about any high cap, even if you don't get highcap mags right away, is that you can shoot it in L10 or get mags later and shoot limited.
  8. IMHO I don't think the effort would be worth it. As long as the dot is zeroed it should be fine.
  9. Thanks guys. I like it. Bill, I'm well, how are you? I'm going to start my oldest daughter, Jenna, shooting this year. It should be fun. She is a mature and very athletic 10 year old. She is a motivated kid and should do well. You should see us at some matches this year.
  10. What does Mako mozo mean? I did a search but came up with squat. I can't be the first person to ask. Thanks.
  11. Nick, sounds like a great choice. Good luck, I think you will be happy. When I bought mine JP had about a 2 month backlog. How long do you have to wait for your's?
  12. One other thing, at this years 3 gun Nationals, JP by far the dominate rifle. It seemed to me that 1/2 the competitors there were shooting some type of JP AR. That should tell you something about his work.
  13. To follow up on BamBam's comment. I am the "buddy" he refers to. His Grade one has some advantage over my Grade 2. His is less finicky about ammo than mine. Don't get me wrong. As long as you use the correct ammo it is flawless. The low mass bolt carrier is very sweet, and I think it does keep it flatter, but it will make the rifle more picky on what ammo it will feed. I would have no other AR than a JP, and I have a lot of rounds through a lot of different ARs. .....................YOU WILL BE HAPPY!!!!! (Edited by Tony Chiavacci at 12:42 am on Jan. 13, 2003)
  14. Smitty, I personally would not ever look at a stage regardless of the HF and decide to go so fast I will throw a miss (not that I don't do it, believe me I miss plenty). However, On a high HF stage I'll definitely speed up and accept more Cs and maybe a D or 2 if it is high enough. I am certainly no expert but have had a few moments of brilliance. When I'm really on my game I can tell weather on not my shot is an A or a C. Unfortunately most of the time I am not very sure. Misses and most Ds are the only thing I can usually call accurately and of course always try to make up a miss when I can. (Edited by Tony Chiavacci at 9:43 pm on Jan. 14, 2003)
