  1. Sorry about that guys. We were preparing the website to sell Hearthco Moons and it looks like I clicked "Online" instead of "offline" when I put the starter info in there. Don't worry, we will not be selling Hearthco Moons for $8 a piece. They will be right in line with what TK sells his for. Scott @ Apex
  2. We all had a great match and an amazing time. Thanks for being part of everything Ty, you and Wendy are always welcome at our house. Scott
  3. Hey guys, We stopped taking revolvers temporarily because randy and I are so busy with product development and we don't have the man power to keep up with all the custom revolver work. We intent to remedy that as soon as possible, but for now we are asking people to be patient with us. Scott @ Apex
  4. Wilkenstein is correct. We are not keeping a waiting list for the barrels. That's the most fair we we could come up with to figure out who gets barrels. We will be posting on our newsletter and Blog about their release once they arrive here from Bar-Sto, but until then, we have no more information on their release. Scott @ Apex
  5. We're still waiting to receive the First Article barrels for production approval. I'm sorry we can't give you guys more yet. Scott
  6. Hey guys, I know it's taken a long time to get anywhere with these barrels. All I can say is that we're sorry they're taking so long to come off the production line. Scott @ Apex
  7. Locking Blocks....Yes, once we're able to proof a new design that does the job we want. I wouldn't expect it for at least 6 months. Scott @ Apex
  8. There will be semi drop in and match target barrels in 9 and 40. Compact, Full Size and Pro lengths will be available. Scott @ Apex
  9. The testing is going well. The blanks are still in process at Bar-Sto, but they are progressing nicely. Scott @ Apex
  10. No, we don't have a waiting list for the barrels. We don't have an exact release date yet so we're not setting up a waiting list. The best thing you can do is watch our Facebook and blog or sign up for the news letter. Scott @ Apex
  11. The test barrels are being shot for durability and longevity now, we should have something like 50,000 rounds through them soon. Scott @ Apex
  12. The first barrels will be 9mm, but 40 coming soon. 45 shortly there after. 4.25 and 5 will be first then compacts later.
  13. Hey guys, I need to make a correction to what what said above. The first batch of 500 Will go to Apex. The barrels have not been approved for manufacture, there are only 5 prototypes in existence for the moment, we have 3 of them and Bar-Sto has the other 2. We, along with Bar-Sto will be shooting these barrels over the next few weeks in an effort to see how they hold up. If all goes well, we should be releasing the Bar-Sto/Apex M&P barrel in around 6 months. Scott @ Apex
  14. Yes, we will be offering fitting services, at the moment I don't have a price lined out for that. We will need the complete gun to assure a proper fit. Scott @ Apex
  15. These will be a 1:16" twist, same as Bar-Sto uses across the board. These barrels should handle the 147gr bullets like a champ. Scott @ Apex
  16. To answer the above questions. The barrels will meet the USPSA rules for Production use unless they change that one too. They will first be available as Match/Target barrels only, then shortly there after be available as a semi-drop in. We don't know the retail price as of yet or have a firm delivery. If you would like to see the first production prototype in the demo gun we're bringing with us to Shot Show, look for us to be loitering around the Smith LE booth at the show. You can't miss me, I'm 6'3" and wearing an Apex shirt. Scott @Apex
  17. Back in April when this thread was at the top of the lists, we contacted John Amidon at USPSA about our RAM being used in Production. After sending John a RAM for review, he responded to us saying that the RAM is legal for USPSA Production use being that it does not require the removal of any factory safety mechanism and is not an externally visible modification. We knew all along that the FSS would not be legal for Production and have told people all along that it would not be.

Great pics. Thanks for posting. Scott @ Apex
  19. No worries William, I just wanted to put out there that we're perfectly ok with people mixing our stuff with factory components.
  20. We designed our parts and springs to work in conjunction with factory parts. We find it perfectly acceptable to mix and match our parts and springs with factory parts and springs to achieve the trigger pull you desire. We know people are tinkerers, we accept that and designed our stuff with that in mind. If you want to find a middle ground in trigger pull and feel between the Competition and Duty/Carry Kits, I would recommend installing only the USB and Hard Sear. That will give you a pull right around 4.25lbs with a smooth uptake. If you want it a little lighter, install only 1 of the 3 springs for the Comp kit and try it again. Scott
  21. I've played with their side ways mount on the revos and it's a great way to get the dot lower over the bore. The nice thing is that they're solid once they're mounted, they lint feel flimsy at all.
  22. CPU has it right, that's a Dawson .125 front with a Warren rear.
  23. Here's my video of the IRC...All 14 stages
  24. I've got the stingray, looks like that's the closest it gets to the body. I've decided to go with my Talon Tactical because it's easily under the 2" mark and I don't have to worry.
  25. I put my DOH on yesterday and double checked it and I was right at 2.25" on my CR Speed Belt. I've got a spankin new Talon Tactical that fits the gun real well and works great, maybe I'll just switch to that. Scott
