  1. I have the Shadow T converted to SAO and would buy another in a heartbeat. My next CZ will be one of the Longslides from CZ Custom.

Looking for 220gr. subsonic loads.....who's got em?
  5. RPM, what do you see as an advantage of 7625 over 231? What's your load? Bullet? grains powder? gun? CZ75 Shadow T - SAO I've been running 4.4 under a Ranier 130 gr pill @ 1.155. It's accurate, clean and very soft. I don't have to make PF. 231 was really dirty till the top of the charge range. Don't get me wrong, 231 is a good powder, but I'll load the 7625 from now on. Got to thank Red Ryder for the advice and info!
  6. I bought the 75 Shadow T and had it converted to SAO. The original parts come with the gun, that way you get a fine firearm with 2 triggers! My decision was made quite easy as it was before the SAO purchase option was available. Either option is a WIN, you will not be dissappointed with this pistol. Happy shooting!
  7. Anyone have an SVI with the doublecut trigger guard? I'm looking for a pic as compared to the regular undercut guard. Thanks in advance for any pics or links.

  9. Welcome aboard....and Geaux Saints!
  10. I didn't catch a single word in your post......nice avatar.
  11. God bless...thoughts and prayers to his friends and family.
  12. I'm running 4gr Win231 at 1.14" with a 124 Berry's.....soft load, but I doubt it hits 125PF. I've run that load up to 4.4 at the same length with the same head, and would bet $ it hits PF for minor (no chrono). I'd suggest dropping your charge a tad and give it some length, then find a chrono. Good luck, happy shooting.

    Burn Rates

I gotta ask you guys....does the search for the "Holy Grail" of recipes ever end?
  14. I feel your pain....my last CZ Shadow cost me a diamond anniversary ring before I even placed the order with Angus.

    Burn Rates

Thanks for the WST info, Ron. I got more than one person telling me about Solo1000, but like you mentioned, I'm not digging the lot to lot variance. Does AA#2 share the same characteristics as well?

    Burn Rates

I'm running 124 RN Berry's in a CZ75 Shadow T....also looking at trying some 135 gr Berry's as well. The reason I got fixated on the burn chart, is because I was looking for something comparable to N320. I suppose using the chart for that purpose isn't the best practice. I don't really need to make minor, our shoots aren't sanctioned, although I am eyeing maybe trying a steel match or USPSA match at another club down the road.
  18. I've been looking for VV N320, but can't find it on the shelf anywhere in south central PA. So I started a search for another powder that's stocked locally. My thoughts are going with IMR SR7625, as I have some reliable load data for that powder. I am intrigued with W231 and also AA powder's since they have specific publicized load data for plated bullets. What I don't understand is the difference SR7625 is listed on various burn rate charts....one site has it at #27- faster than 231 / HP-38, and another chart has it listed at #40, between PP & HS-6....seems like quite a variance. What gives? Am I overthinking this?
  19. I purchased that same firearm a few weeks back. No buyers remorse, no dissappointment. Matter of fact, I've already started a fund to buy another CZ. CZ Custom is a great shop to work with, quality people and products, through & through.
  20. Welcome Lior.....center mass on everything you said. Hope you enjoy this community!
  21. questions answered, and straight to the point......thanks guys!
