Same here. I find myself just amming high on the plate with the 100 yd dot @ 200, that small dot is a female dog to see....

Burris XTR-14 for the price.

I run a Burris XTR-14 a true 1x-4x I have the R&R Racing Throw Lever on it which makes it easy to adjust magnification on the fly. It works great and have not had any problems.

Carlos, We shot 8 stages today with low 70s and overcast weather and were off the range at 3PM. Very challenging and fun 8 stages with great ROs. Today was all pistol and some SG / pistol and one SG only with Doug Hartley as the RO with 22 shots. Young Tim Hawkins (age 16) shot this stage in 25 seconds, the 2nd fastest time of the day, including the infamous Polish 8 plate rotating plate rack with a borrowed Saiga SG because his dad's Saiga SG gun puked :-) Tommorrow is the 4 stages of rifle and SG, we should be done with the whole Match including the Auction Table Benefit by 3:00PM Sunday. Our Department went from MP5 to the AR. None of are SRT members have had any proplems with the Transition. The EoTech is nice when making Entry and engaging targets within a 100yds & The reloads are way faster.

Are primiary weapon system is the M40 which is a .308 In the Marine Corp we shot Green tip 5.56 62gr. The hole reason iam asking is for 3-gun purpose & knocking steel down at 400+yds. Last year I had trouble knocking the steel down with 55gr if u want to be a smart ass stay out of the Tread. GM Open Mouth shooter -How Copy
