  1. I'm going to have a pile of those sheets printed for Saturday practice.
  2. The TTI rear is the same height as the Warren/Sevigney's - .250" With a .220 front, the TTI rear will have the same problem as the Warren rear you have now. I don't know why TTI only has a.220 front option - I've tried them with 2 17s and 2 different 34s (all gen4 guns) they all require a .245 front to be POA-POI.
  3. Very cool! I'll be curious to see how the Cmore holds up to the slide-ride setup.
  4. My primary USPSA single stack is my Sentry, my backup was a TRP. The Sentry, hands down. Better fitting all around, better parts, undercut trigger guard, higher beavertail cut, nicer checkering on the front strap, better sights out of the box, flattopped slide - just better in every respect.
  5. sub .20 and keeping them in A at 7yd is easily doable with a stock Glock. In my video above, I wasn't because, in part, it was my first outing with the Glock after shooting CZs exclusively for about a year, and also because each shot was taking a small chunk out of the web of my hand. Excuses, excuses, I know. But it's certainly possible. I don't have any other video, but I assure you it can be done.
  6. Hmm, just ran that video and I was getting about 0.26 splits on average. Nothing under 0.2 and a long of 0.35... You can get shot timers to work on computer speakers? I can't. But the CED7000 said they were all in the teens at the time. and, no sadly, they were not all A hits.
  7. bone stock Glock 31 - .16s and .17s. 125gr JHP @ 1320 fps. The equipment is not the problem.
  8. All good points about the difficulty of creating and administering such a system. But, the averaging of an individual's scores are a pretty good check. It's easy to get wrapped around the axle about one particular classifier being off. However, because that one particular classifier is averaged with 5 others, or not at all even, I don't know that it matters all that much in the grand scheme of things that the HHF isn't perfect for every single one. The marginal cost in time and effort to create a perfect HHF determination, with all the issues you pointed out, is probably not worth the extremely tiny difference it would make in anyone's classification. Of course, I'm viewing that through the lens of someone who doesn't care all that much about classification in the first place. Maybe a little, but I want the overall win. High A or whatever offers me no consolation.
  9. I always thought it was based on the best run at a major match, like this one was. I did however expect it would at least be broken out by division.
  10. One last attempt to get back to the heart of the topic. The thread isn't about one particular classifier. Its about the process. So far nothing has been figured out. How are HHF's determined? According to 1ma45dv8, it was set by a single run by Max Michel at A6 in 2005. This checks out. http://www.uspsa.org/legacy/stage_display.php?year=2005&match=Area_6_Championship&dir=Open&file=Pistol_Stage_1.dat That HF matches the HHF. It's a bit ridiculous that the HHF for PRD and SSTK was set by guy shooting a comped, dotted open gun with a magwell the size of a volkswagen. If there is no difference, and comps and dots and magwells and bikini holsters don't offer any advantage (as indicated by the notion that the HHF should be the same), we should allow them in PRD and SSTK. but we have our answer - the HHF (for this one at least) wasn't set by grandbaggers running it over and over. It was set by a single run in a match. We also know why the HHF is stupid high for all the other divisions -- because you're trying to match the draw, splits, and reload speed of a fully prepped open gun/rig. Twice in row.
  11. . Having seen the stages, (they're pretty awesome) the secret gamer way to beat them is to shoot alphas really fast
  12. You can shoot pretty much any Glock you want in Competition. I used a 17 both times. The 22 is the 40 version of the 17. (4.4" barrel) The 23 is the 40 G19. (4" barrel)
  13. A 17. You can shoot it in Amateur Civilian and Competition at the next GSSF match and win yourself 2 more. The prize giveaways at GSSF matches are ridiculous. I went to 2 matches and now have 4 guns on the way. It's enough to make this steel gun elitist switch teams!

  15. Another HOA, nice! That's some good mojo going into A5.

    OPEN GLOCKS

Dillon carbide for sizing, Lyman m for expanding, Redding comp seating, and lee FCD collet crimp. It's the perfect setup for 357 SIG.
  18. What Bill said. Not being able to shoot sucks. But it would be worth a chuckle or 2 to see your reaction when the gun runs out of bullets after only 9 shots.
  19. If it makes you feel any better, neither of his work! Sorry CB, couldn't resist. If you can track down a SS rig, I've got a spare 1911 and plenty of mags. No CZs though.
  20. USPSA multi-gun appendix A-2, says 8+1 for limited division. That was the other reason I didn't get up the stones to dremel the bolt.
  21. no wonder I screw up any stage that requires me to turn right......
  22. Did you just compare SS to NASCRAP? Really?
  23. Using the Lee FCD die may be your problem. The sizing ring in the crimp die can swage down lead/moly coated lead bullets and cause accuracy issues. https://www.google.com/search?q=lee+factory+crimp+lead+bullets

    TTI sights

Indeed. Having to spend $50 to get the sight dialed in on top of the $85 they cost annoys me. I suppose I can recoup some of it by selling the .220, but still. My single stacks have adjustables. After this, I'm even more convinced adjustable is the only way to roll.

    TTI sights

I already ordered one from Shooters Connection - I needed it for this weekend.
