There are no penalties if the MGM double swinger does nor rotate 360. There is a -5 sec bonus if it does rotate 360. The two MGM plates must be engaged and hit otherwise miss penalties and/or FTEs will be accrued. We are getting close now. I'll pick up the match books and shirts tomorrow. The trophies and score sheet have arrived. The food vendor is set. Squad layout and shooter packets will start tonight. The dumpsters and port-a-pots will be delivered next week. The staff and prize table are on track. Most of the setup is finished. We will do a little clean-up, count and paint tgts, finish up the stages this weekend and set the activators and movers the first of next week. After that..... we shoot.

There will be water bottles provided on the bays. The minimum distance on the lathe is 8 ft. The food vender across from Stage 7 will have drinks.

Both will be shot on hardcover paper tgts at ~ 25/30 yds. The sponsor list is posted at orpci.org. Check it out and support the venders that support our shooting sports.

The rd count is 101 pistol, 104 rifle, 49 shot, 4 slugs, and 4 00buckshot for a total of 262 more or less..... The stages would already be posted at orpci.org except the webmaster is in the FL Keys and will be for another week. He seems unwilling to return home and post them ????? some people. I'll email the stages to everyone registered. We still have a few slots. You'll come shoot with us.

HUH?? Is it now one day or two? I already have a hotel booked for 2 nights and will need to cancel Sat night if this is the case. The Match will be a one ONE DAY format. I think I am the only person who liked the 2 day format. The one day has always worked out well for us in the past. The main match will be on Sat. with staff still shooting on Thur and/or Fri. Shooters meeting will be at 7:45 AM Sat. with first round down range at 8:00 AM. Shooter packets will available at the range Fri. afternoon and Sat Morning. Everything is on track for the match. Sam Keen has agreed to serve as RM. Most of you know Sam. He is running for USPSA President, is MD for the Mississippi MG, MD for the Memphis charity Match, and has shot in our club a few times. We now have a 200yd range. Also we should have a new moving tgt system ready for the match. There will be eight stages to be posted in the next two weeks.

Thanks for your interest in the KY MG. The target date for the 7th annual is the first weekend in June 2011. I'll make an official post as soon a we are 100% on that date. Plans also include a two day format. See you at the range. GW Match Director

The 6th annual KY MG will be again held at the Owensboro Rifle & Pistol Club Inc. Main event on Saturday with the staff shooting on Thur/Fri.. Entry will again be $100.00. Details posted soon @ orpci.org You'll come shoot with us. GW

Thanks for the good words and suggestions. I like the idea of a double prize table if we can pull it off. As I"m sure you are aware, a good match local or higher must start with a strong local setup crew and corp of ROs working together. We will have the results on our site orpci.org soon. If you shoot all the paper with 2 rounds and the steel & clays with 1 round each the round count is 95 pistol, 76 rifle, 64 shot and 12 slugs. IF.........
