  1. We'll make arrangements for you to pick up your packet early on Friday. Just remind me.
  2. We did the aerial clays last year so "been there done that." Rest assured you will see them again.
  3. Here is what we have for round count. Keep in mind it is draft. I don't want to say final until the correct amount of steel is on site and the RMs have reviewed the stages. There are no aerial clays, slugs, or buckshot in either match. Slings will not be need. The shooter will have options on which gun to use on some tgts. It's not a new concept but is good one. When the shooter looks at a stage a decision must be made not only on how to proceed but also in some cases which gun to use or when to transition. It's always a good idea to bring twice the ammo you think you need to any match. Remember if a magnet sticks to a rifle bullet leave it at home. Figuring 1 rd per steel and 2 per paper: The Am rd count is rifle ~80 to 55, pistol ~110 to 90, and shot ~55 to 45. The Pro rd count is Rifle ~100 to 75, pistol ~140 to 80, and shot ~100 to 60.
  4. I was at the Rock today working on the ProAm. The pistol match was set for tomorrow. I took a peek and whoever is doing stage design and set-up has their act together. Looking good guys..........
  5. Bryan that will be a good guess. I'll post a round count in a few days. The stages will be posted in about two weeks. We are not planning any buck or slugs. I have not made a final decision on aerial clays..... suppose I need to check with Air Miller?? The Pan Am MG stage 6 with flying clays and a MGM spinner created the most banter.
  6. We finished the stage setup today so we are ready to go................
  7. Here are the stages.............. PA1.pdf PA2.pdf PA3.pdf PA4.pdf PA5.pdf PA6.pdf PA7.pdf PA8.pdf PA9.pdf PA10.pdf
  8. A5 and PASA were great as always. Since most of the Nationals seem to have found a permanent home on the left coast A5 is becoming the Nationals for the Eastern half of the country.
  9. Announcing the 2013 Pan American Multi Gun Challenge to be held at the Rockcastle Shooting Center in Park City, Kentucky on July 4-6, 2013 Pan American Multi Gun Challenge will have a unique format. Shooters will have the option of using match supplied firearms in the Supplied Gun Division or shooter supplied firearms in Scoped Tactical and Open Divisions. This is a trophy match with ten stages. Entry is $80.00 for Scoped Tactical and Open divisions and $150.00 for supplied Gun Division. Registration and match info is available at rockcastleshootingcenter.com.
  10. Another great week at ROCKCASTLE. Nobody can put a shotgun match together like Joe.
  11. I've been working on the submit button also plus a little on stage design. Even if you get on the waiting list stay registered. Last year most everyone on the waiting list got to shoot the match.
  12. Thanks, we'll take a look at the 1/2 day format. The ProAm has some unique challenges.
  13. Registration is planned for Feb 13th. Where would we register? Just want to make sure i don't need to be signed in somewhere prior. Thanks. Registration will be on-line. When Linda C gets the details squared away info will be posted on the ProAm, here on enos, and on the BoomerShooter sites. Info will be posted well in advance.
  14. Unfortunately we are not hosting a KYMG this year. I do want to bring it back at some point. I'm MD for three matches at Rockcastle this year along with all the ORPCI Club stuff we do (orpci.org). Plus I shot ~ 40 matches last year and plan to again this year. I do enjoy working but it's still more fun to shoot'em. Look me up when you get to the ProAm. 40 matches? That's awesome! The matches were mostly club, mostly within three hours drive, and mostly pistol. it's all good..........

  16. FYI, 3Gun Nation is on the Pursuit channel and the Sportsman's channel. I don't want to get off subject but they have been a big supporter of the ProAm as well as many other multi gun matches around the country. If you know of a new shooter interested in attending the ProAm or just anyone that needs to see what multi gun is all about this show is an opportunity.
