  3. who's all going? I see a handful of revo's on the self squading anybody want to sqaud up?
  4. i wish like hell they knock off the 610 fairly quick, my idea of a back up gun went away when i saw what they were going for on gun broker..
  5. im paid up for area 3 and area 4, going to mail off checks for memphis and the arkansas sectional this week. Then I have the Mississippi cup in October.. looks like I got my vacations planned...
  6. the oklahoma contention looks strong for this match... time to take the team bubber shirt out of the closet...
  7. Sounds like you more worried about being fast than being smooth. Imo that is. Video yourself, that will show you what you are doing different.
  8. id like to know where you can get a 5 inch barrel for a 610 im using 3.5 grains of clays over a 180 and 200 and it feels pretty salty.. hopefully get to crono them soon to see what the pf is and adjust accordingly.
  9. off topic but is there any place to shoot around Johnson City? I might be there in July to visit my sister
  10. of course roger edged me out..... like always
  11. happy birthday Roger.. hopefully the scores from last weekend will bring you a birthday surprise... if not i "might" let you beat me this weekend...
  12. Area 3, 4 Arkansas section Memphis (might as well call it the revolver nationals) maybe double tap pretty much the Nebraska and Memphis matches will be as far as I will travel. I'm cutting out some of my local match travel and focusing on skills this year at my own range, allowing me to free up those resources for bigger matches.
  13. he submitted the scores... it doesn't matter how he shoots or how we shoot...
  14. dang it.. I came in 91st.... just think if I would have remembered it was ICORE and actually used that speed bump on the end of the barrel...
  15. of course my experience came from a few minutes of handling one in a gun shop.. I'd still like the opportunity to run one a little bit to get a better feel for the gun..
  16. This has not been my experience at all. I ran one of these guns rather extensively during a Ruger "writer's" conference at Gunsite this summer. I found the .38 was pleasant to shoot and decently accurate out to about fifteen yards or so. I ran through a couple of the simulators there with the little LCR and never had an issue with outrunning the trigger or binding of the crane when reloading. i stated they had too much end play and the cylinder would bind against the frame when doing simulated reloads on both brand new guns.. nothing about outrunning triggers of binding of the crane.
  17. i handled one the other day. pros: trigger is nice its light and comes in 357 reasonably priced cons: too much end play i didn't like all the end play in the cylinder. as you closed the cylinder it touched the receiver causing it to either stop or have to move forward on the yoke to close.. I was simulating a reload and it didn't always close.. no bueno the gun shop had 2 brand new, one 38 and one 357 and both had a lot of end play...
  18. I agree a lot with r112...... you gotta be able to run your gun....... of course you should carry a 6.5 inch 29 like dirty harry
