  1. From Rick Steele, Area 5 Director "We talked about this at the Board meeting. We are trying to make it easy for the shooter to try the Division without putting out a lot of money. If you machine the slide for the dot and then remove the dot, you will need to fill the machined area with a plate of similar material (steel in most cases) to make it look like a production gun. That will probably depend on how deep you machine the slide. Troy McManus will be the deciding factor as we walk through the issues in this new division. Since this is a provisional division the ruling on that may change but that is what the Board talked about at the meeting. You can also use a dovetail mount. It will make the dot a little higher than normal sights but it is very easy to return it to a Production gun."
  2. I normally shoot Production with a G21 or G41. If I mill the slide to accept a Red Dot, can I, in the future remove the Red Dot if I want to shoot Production in the future?
  3. I can see this with Steel, not USPSA. When will the shooter be able to bag his pistol?
  4. Not having a full year time trial, shows the BOD doesn't want this to work. Give me a break!
  5. I just turn my case feeder off and cycle until empty. Will I have a problem doing this? I just got a 1050 (not the Super). All information is appreciated.
  6. Maybe the Spartan sales were hurting the sales of the more expensive STI's.
  7. Not likely, he went from an STI to a Glock..... Sure I knew that.
  8. Sounds like STI, is trying to save money at their customers expense.

  16. With all these shooters jumping around, do they still shoot with a RO at each stage?
  17. With the 230 gr. Bayou Bullet and 3.2 grs. of Clays, the PF is 148 out of my G41. I tried 2.7 and 3.0, but had some FTE.
  18. When the buzzer beeps, the clock is running. And continues.
