  1. Hi Roy, I have made a slide on legal in the box Mag well for the Race Ready. It's aluminium finished in black, or just aluminium.
  2. I have had good luck with N310, 180gr or 200gr; start load of 4.0.
  3. I have had good luck with N310, 180gr or 200gr; start load of 4.0.
  4. Steve, You don't have time to play softball! Shoot Shoot shoot. John
  5. I put together a Limited Caspian with his standard bull barrel and won a stage at Nationals with it. I'm happy! So, I just put together a Caspian with the Hybrid, Have not shot it yet. I'll let you Know. John
  6. Do some searching here on monovision. Dominate eye set up for sharp focus on front sight, other eye for infinity. I took the gamble and like it, it doesn't work for some. Monovision? Where do I find a link?
  7. I also started hand loading some where around 38 years ago, some of the greatest times dad and I have had togeather. We are still talking over the in's and out's. Any way. We got a 550 when I got out of the Corps, I have loaded alot on it. And so, I have to agree that you just need to clean the primer seating pin off every so often. You just can't push hard enough to put a small dent in the primers unless debris is on the primer seating pin. If you seat all the way to the top of the stroke the most you can do is flatten the primer and maybe put a small ridge around it. John
  8. Hi, I'm in the process of try to get contacts that will work for my 50 year old eyes. My issue is how do you get a clear site picture and still see the targets. If any one has done that please advise the best way. I'm on the second pair of contacts and still trying to figue out the rite combination. I think my issue is I have never had to wear glass before. John
  9. I've been a member for years, just never have the time. John
  10. Hi, If "we" don't like the direction our local club is taking "we" must get involved with the planning and set up. Same goes for Majors. It takes alot to set up a small match, I'm not seeing any comments about the work aspect of this matter. And then who is doing it. At some of the matches we have it has been the club Pres, VP and two or three others setting it up. Them 45 other shooters show up to shoot. Then of course the complaints start. Has any body else had this experience? John
  11. Great to see new guys TJ, shoot as much as You can have fun! John
  12. My condolences to both families, with prayers for all. I will, we all must ensure our childern, sposes, friends, and anyone we come in contact with follow gun saftey. Hopefully my kids will learn somthing from this when I print and show it to them. John
  13. I'm left handed, right eye dominant. I won a stage at Nationals as a B Class shooter. And then won Area 3. I just don't think it's a handycap. I agree with Duane Thomas just keep shooting--fast, accurate. John
  14. I feel that the support hand should begripping 100%, the shooting hand should be 80 to 90%. Also I use a little push pull to keep the recoil down. John
