  1. Help, all my primers on my 45acp reloads have a very small dimple right in the center of the primer (like a very light firing pin strike), some also look like they are being crushed slightly. This is my first batch of 45's with my new 550B, previously used a Square Deal and never ran into a problem like this unless a grain of powder or small metal filing fell onto the primer seating punch. However that doesn't seem to be the case with the 550B, I've checked the seating punch with a magnifying glass and there's no perceivable imperfections that might be causing this. I'm using Federal primers now but also tried some old CCI & Winchester primers and they all do it. Anybody else having any issues like this? Am I just seating too hard? But then where does the dimple come from?
