  7. 2007 Superstition Mountain Mystery 3-Gun Lottery We are instituting a lottery system for registration this year. This will reduce the cost of registration to the entrants (overnight shipping) and make the registration process fair and equitable. Applications received without the appropriate entry fee enclosed will also be returned. All applications will be assigned a number and we will assign slots by random draw. A waiting list will also be drawn at the same time – limited to 50 additional applications. You will be notified on or after January 18th, 2007. 10/30/2006 SMM3G Executive Staff Applications will be available soon... For more information - visit our web site: SMM3G Web site A2Chic
  8. Clarification: 2006 Desert Classic Walk-Through Policy On Thursday, 11/9, if no competitors are shooting, preparing to shoot, or scoring the stage, the Range Master has approved registered competitors only, to enter or move through a course of fire. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, competitors may enter or move through a course of fire with prior approval of a Range Officer assigned to that course of fire or the Range Master. USPSA rule US8.7.5 will be strictly enforced. "No person is permitted to enter or move through a course of fire without the prior approval of a Range Officer assigned to that course of fire or the Range Master. Violators may be subject to the provisions of Section 10.6 for willful offenses." Section 10.6 - Match Disqualification - Unsportsmanlike Conduct. Rio Salado Desert Classic Match Directors Paul Caudill & Bob LaMarca
  9. Mr. Bray... Due to some inconsistencies concerning walk throughs at last year's match, (that was last year... and let's move on to this year's match) - the executive committee has implemented the following: "Stages will not be open for physical walk through prior to your squad's assigned shooting time." Ref. USPSA rule US8.7.5.: "No person is permitted to enter or move through a course of fire without the prior approval of a Range Officer assigned to that course of fire or the Range Master. Violators may be subject to the provisions of Section 10.6 for willful offenses." Section 10.6 - Match Disqualification - Unsportsmanlike Conduct. This is the 19th year of the Rio Salado Desert Classic. Our staff is made up primarily of the same group that started this event. They are some of the most dedicated and friendliest shooters in the world. If you have an issue with any staff member, please contact either of the RSDC Match Directors or the Range Master. RSDC/A2 Sincerely, Bob LaMarca A2/RSDC Match Director and Barbara LaMarca A2/RSDC Registration & Stats a.k.a. A2Chic
  10. As soon as we have the stage pages back from the printer (match book), they will be posted. I would guess a week or two from now. A2Chic
  11. i think you can ship it to the range. lynn Ship your ammo to: Accuracy Speaks c/o A2 Shooter # ___ 3960 N. Usery Pass Rd. Mesa, AZ 85207 Please use your competitor number in the blank ___ space above. Your shooter # should be on the postcard sent out in August. If you did not receive a postcard (mainly sponsored shooters and those getting in from the waiting list), please contact me and I will supply that info. rlamarca@cox.net BTW, I have been able to pull 21 people from the waiting list so far - into the match. The deadline for sponsored shooters to get their info in to me is October 13th. So... there may still be some more from the waiting list being able to get into the match. More info may be available on the RSDC web page: Area 2 / Rio Salado Desert Classic web page A2 Chic
  12. 360 - this doesn't include ~60 staff + 65 sponsored slots. not yet... A2Chic
  13. i'm sure it's chocolate! don't let the man get you down barbara! lynn Thanks for all the well wishes, I really appreciate the support. I'm four units of blood fuller than I was on Friday - nice & rosey cheeks ;-). If you are looking to send sweets - you can mail to the registration address. Thanks... A2Chic
  14. Tom... The match filled up on August 2nd - that was yesterday, right? You are shooter # 149 - but if you'd like me to return your application, I'd be happy to do so. My butt still hurts... Sorry for the sarcasm - You'll love our match. A2Chic
  15. Actually, you can. Mine arrived and was delivered fedex priority 8:10am an 8/2 and I didnt get in. No one at home had the idea of putting the exact hour and minute that each of 120+ envelopes were received. Some were left at the front door before someone was home. Maybe I should have taken the day off to sit by the front door... but there's those bill things that I have to care of on a monthly basis that overcame the thought of a day off. I am trying my best. We will talk about what to do for next year. This is getting ridiculous... I'm sorry to make everyone so upset, but some things are out of my control. There were 70 people on the waiting list as of last night. I know this because I took the time to open every envelope and enter each name into a spreadsheet. Until I get something out to everyone in the mail or email, if you want to know if your app made it in, please send me an email & I'll check for you. A2Chic rlamarca@cox.net
  16. Whooaa is me... The match is full. Imagine 120+ envelopes on the counter when you arrive home... OMG! My butt is sore from sitting at the computer for the past 5+ hours entering names... haven't started on the waiting list - but it's there. Send me a personal email and I'll let you know if you're in or not. I'll be sending out postcards otherwise. Cheers A2Chic rlamarca@cox.net
  17. kellyn... Great efforts are taken to put the squads together. Under the circumstances, this year filling up in only two days - many people sent in their apps all together. If you don't put who you'd like to be squadded with... the problem then exists that there is no "database" to check to see "how good you are" - i.e. what (USPSA) class - D C B A M GM - for a three-gun competition (you all have "no" class - hehehe). I know many of the guys are here from out of town and need to be squadded together with the guys they drove with. This is particularly more difficult in the three-gun format, as there is much more equipment to deal with. As it stands right now, I'm doing the best under the circumstances at hand. Thanks for your input. AZ Stats Chic
  18. The results should be up this evening. Hope everyone had a good time playin' in the snow. Az Stats Chic SMM3G Home Page
