Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. Brian, I just happened to check this thread on a whim and low and behold there is now an Audible version (and it supports Whispersync for Voice)!!!! I am so excited, thanks so much. I just got mine for a $1.99 to boot (because I already had the Kindle version?? not sure.. but I'll take it for $1.99). Now I just need to finish my current book (A Game of Thrones, Book 5) and yours is next in my queue! Simply Awesome Brian!
  2. Brian, any chance of getting your book to the Audible.com website? I already own the paperback & kindle version. BUT most of my "reading" now happens on my commute in the form of audio books. I sure would like to listen to your book on my drive. Just a thought..

    Which vest?

Which one from Cabela's do you use? This one? http://www.cabelas.com/product/Clothing/Mens-Casual-Clothing/Mens-Casual-Shirts/Mens-Safari-Shirts%7C/pc/104797080/c/104746680/sc/104263380/i/104029380/Cabelas-Safari174-Vest/722816.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse.cmd%3FN%3D1102600%26WTz_l%3DSBC%253BBRprd722816&WTz_l=SBC%3BBRprd722816%3Bcat104029380
  4. I will fill in your ?? N320 is my favorite and goto for .40 180gr (and 9mm, and .45, and .38....etc)
  5. I just got a new 617 and it's trigger rebound was very "gritty". I opened it up and that same area pictured was like sand paper. I smoother it up with a little stoning, then some buffing. it made a world of difference in the trigger rebound. I was really surprised to see how rough it was out of the factory.
  6. Thanks I hopefully got in my order for some CCI LPP
  7. Thanks JIm, ordered, but will be surprised if it goes through. BUT thanks for the heads up!!!
  8. Here is just a quick pic of my current collection. (686SSR, 625JM, 617, 627PC) I am new to the revolver world but the bug has bitten hard. All are pretty much stock so far, i sure wish Carmoney would open for business again (nudge nudge?). Now if only my .38/357 loading dies and conversion would come in from Dillon.
  9. It looks like the size used for "blanks" However i thought the brass was usually marked as "Blank"? ie: https://www.starlinebrass.com/brass-cases/45-Long-Colt-Blank-Brass/index.cfm But I guess nothing stopping someone from making a standard flash hole bigger I guess to accommodate.
  10. I plan on throwing more of my money at Larue because of this.
  11. I just got my 625 2 weeks ago and plan to shoot it this season. I voted 'same', BUT i am really gonna be bummed if I have to go out and get and 8 shot now. j/k nothing wrong with buying another gun. Ok what do you all recommend...so I can start looking now
  12. Well, talk about a happy accident. I was just killing some time, looking at old post and found this. I didn't know you released this to Kindle. Such good news. Now I can read it on any of my devices; anytime, anywhere. I already own a copy in the paperback format, but the convenience of the Kindle version is worth the money. Thanks Brian! --Mark
