  1. WOW! Just WOW! Smoothest Match I have attended, and unbelieveable vendor support! Great job Jeff. The ROs were the best! Everyone in our group had a great time. Steve Griffin, William McCutcheon and I shooting heads-up against Jerry Miculek, Bennie Cooley, and Ty Gentry (and winning ) was priceless. We all hope we will have another match next year! For all you vendors... we have about 6 newish 3 gunners from our club that were exposed to your products. I am sure all your efforts will pay off down the road. I will be purchasing 4 new major items this year, because of seeing/using at the match. Greg
  2. Most ROs and help will be at the Indiana match that weekend. If you cant wait until October, Owensboro is having a 3gun match Sat July 30th. See you there. Greg B. http://www.bgslinc.com/modules.php?name=BGSL_Sport_SSPROREV&file=page&load=Home.html
  3. Great match! Thanks ro staff. Very smooth for that many shooters. One suggestion, misting stations! . Seriously great match. Greg
  4. Packing up right now, but I have time to take a few names for some butt kick'n this weekend.... J...e ...f...f... G..... Let the smack talking begin!
  5. SCORES ARE UP FOR 3 GUN! Wow, what a blistering hot day Sunday was! All you early set-up guys really got after it! Thanks! Special thanks to our ROs that stayed in the sun the whole day. TJ, Corey, Mike, Barry, Brian and Bryan. We had some longer stages that most of you either really loved or really hated. If you can survive those stages in that heat, you can go to a national match no problems! Congrats, Steve "twinkle toes" Griffin, who took all of the points on the minefield stage, he tiptoed through the minefield with the best time. How about Bryan "30-06" Ray taking all of the points with his 30-06 Garand on stage 1 (pretty incredible run!). Good luck to everyone shooting the KY State Wildcat match this week. Greg
  6. Thanks for everyone's help at the match. The heat was brutal! The stages ended up being a little more than I bargined for. .. Especially with the hottest day we have seen this year. At least it did not rain! I will hopefully have the scores up by Wednesday. Greg
  7. I worked on this my last match. If anyone is using Windows Accessories file Paint, here is a props file you can easily cut and paste. If you are not the perfectionist, it is fast to draw up a stage.
  8. teaser... Bay 4 Stage 3 The Minefield Rifle/Pistol YOUR MISSION: NAVIGATE THROUGH THE MINEFIELD CLEARING OUT THE SNIPERS, TAKE THE MINE MAP BRIEFCASE, AND FIGHT YOUR WAY BACK TO YOUR SQUAD WITH OUT BEING SHOT OR BLOWN UP. I have 5 exciting long stages. You don't want to miss this one! Min round count is 68 rifle, 46 shotgun, 83 pistol. We suggest you bring extra ammo in case of re-shoots, or you just miss a few . Set up starts at 8:00am. New shooters by 9:15am sharp (see website). Squad up at 10am ish. Start as soon as stages set. Remember to bring your ECIs (empty chamber indicators) for long guns. Please review the website information on safety and procedures, especially new shooters! http://www.bgslinc.com/modules.php?name=BGSL_Sport_SSPROREV&file=page&load=Home.html or go to the BGSL website. I hope to see you there this Sunday May 29th.! Greg
  9. We will have our next next 3 Gun Match on Sunday May 29th. Come out and warm up for the KY State Wildcat Match. We will have 5-6 solid stages. We had fifty last match, being Memorial Day weekend who knows? I have three great stages already to go! Greg http://www.bgslinc.com/modules.php?name=BGSL_Sport_SSPROREV&file=page&load=Home.html
  10. Scores are up. Thanks for everyone's help. Great turn out! I will try to reduce the time a little. The new shooters which we love, slowed us down a little. Thanks, Greg
  11. Thanks for posting A.T.. I guess I am going to have to start posting these since I am match director. Should be a good match. Dress warm and bring the hand warmers! If anyone has any questions, take a look at the BGSL 3-Gun 5th Sunday web site and/or give me a call. Thanks for everyone's help last match. Greg
  12. OK, it was me. I was the "gaming" perpetrator. I did the rope thing for safety (so i don't get he rope tangled with my trot to the wall) it was not going to save any time. The just shooting 11 shots was 100% brain fart. I lost count with the swinger, thought I had shot 4 at all 3 targets, after I stoped I actually though I had an extra round in the mag. I CAN reload faster than 5 seconds, I swear...well 9/10 times.
  13. What goes through my mind....................... "Look at the front sight, front sight, front sight, BEEP! when was i going to reload?..."
  14. I want this drawing on the t-shits! I'll take 2 in XL!
