I need some help . I just purchased a Ruger 22/45 MK III . I want to buy a fiber optic front sight for it. I searched around but I haven't been able to find one with a small dia. lite pipe. It seems the only ones that I found come with the .090 dia. pipes. I prefer something around .040 dia. Anybody have any suggestions ? Thanks, Ron

Hello, Does anyone have a sling quick disconnect stud (10/32 or 8/32) for a Benelli Legacy at a reasonable price -like $2.00. I only need the stud. Brownells has the part for .99 cents, but they want $5.95 for shipping. That's a major rip off. The stud weighs only 1/4 of 1oz. A .44cent stamp should do it. Benelli wants to sell me the hole barrel cap assy. which is another rip off. My local gun smith in Griffith, IN. will sell me the Brownells part for $5.00- so he's making 400% profit. Boy would I like to make 400% profit of the things I sell on Ebay. I'm not CHEAP by any means, but I really hate getting ripped off. Thanks, Ron

Are those Bayou Bullets coated with something since you are not getting the smoke that lead bullets emit ? Are they something like the Precision Black Bullets ? I'm looking for a 200 gr. .40 preferably lead with a coating that can be shot indoors and Precision doesn't make them.

Hello Adam, Here are some loads that I have used over the years in USPSA's Production Div. HS-6 6.4 grs. Star .356 Dia. FMJ 124 Gr. O.A.L. 1.150 PF= 139.7 HS-6 6.2 grs. Star .356 Dia. FMJ 124 Gr. O.A.L. 1.150 PF= 131.3 HS-6 6.3 grs. Star .356 Dia. FMJ 124 Gr. O.A.L. 1.150 PF= 134.3 HS-6 6.4 grs. Win. FMJRN .355 Dia. 124 Gr. O.A.L. 1.150 PF= 135.6 These loads were accurate and reliable but dirty. I have since changed to Precision 147 Gr. FPL coated, backed by 3.5 grs. of Vhita N330 with an O.A.L. of 1.134. It gives a PF of 132.8. This load is much cleaner and the bullets much cheaper than FMJ. I used a Pro-Tech Chrono for all my testing & all rounds were shot through my Glock 34. Hi Scott, I could have been mistaken about it being a classifier. I shot it at the Single Stack Classic back in 1997 before USPSA took over the match. Wow! that stage has been around a long time! It sure is a fun one. Hey Slip Knot, I don't think you were around when this stage was created at least not from the picture I'm looking at. By the way, did you catch any fish ? I don't know if you can shoot fast enough to miss & still win, but I do know you can shoot very fast and miss and still look "COOL"

One can purchase a Glock 25 and or 28 in the U.S.. You have to get the BATFE form OMB No. 1512-0017 and you must have a FFl. You must state a specific reason for importing this pistol. The last pistol that I imported came from Pragotrade 307 Humberline Drive, Rexdale Ontario, M9W SVI Canada. Also you must sign a use letter that the pistol will not be sold, traded, given or loaned out to any citizen that does not have a FFL. The BATFE treats these pistols as if they were class 3 weapons without the $200 tax stamp. Oh, It took about 3 months to get the paperwork approved. Today, who knows ? Good Hunting !!!

Hi Chuck, You started facing uprange with your hands relaxed at your sides. At the beep, you pushed down a pepper popper. This popper activated 3 swinging metric targets which disappeared behind metal metric no shoots on each pass. If I remember right, the distance was 11 yards and the targets were not set the same so they did not swing in the same direction. I hope you can make a mental picture of this. Hey I found my score book. This stage was stage 9 at the 3rd Annual Single Stack Classic 1997 shot at the Milan Rifle Club in Milan,IL. Rob Leatham won the stage with a time of 8.63 and he had 54 points out of 60.

Hello rrr , I would suggest joining USPSA ,get the rule book and read what's legal for the different divisions. I feel that investing a $1000 to get started , you will find that Production Division will fill the bill. Steel frame firearms are fine, but the number 1 gun in Production is the Glock 34 and it has been for years. The steel framed guns, all ready to go, will cost around $1000 just for the gun. The Glock 34 costs around $ 650 and you might find one for less at Gunbroker.com or some other firearm site. You should check out the new S&W Pro which has been approved for Production Division. Before you make the leap, try going to a match and see what other shooters are using. Ask if you can shoot their gun. After you shoot the many types of guns that are available, you can tell which feels the best to you. Then you will know. You should be able to purchase any production gun and gear for under a $1000. I just bought the Precision 9mm, 147 Gr., Flat Point Bullets to use in my Glock 34. I want to load them to a power factor of around 130 using VV n330. Has anyone used this combination ? If so, have you had any issues with leading in the stock Glock barrel ? Also, I would appreciate any loading data that you can give me using the above components. Thanks, Ron Buchnat

My favorite load for my 1911 Kimber Stainless Target 5" barrel is a 230 Montana Gold RN bullet, stoked with 4.2 grs. of VV N310. O.A.L. is 1.250. Power factor is 168. Great shooter!!!

They said that the plug extended down beyond the grip. It did by 1/8 of an inch.

I need some good information on which plugs are legal for my Glock 34 in Production Div. At the recent Production Nationals, I was told that my Glock plastic plug from Glock was illegal and that as a result I could only shoot for fun. HELP !!! WHAT PLUGS ARE LEGAL ????? Thanks, Ron Buchnat

I have a Glock 34 with about 6000 rounds fired. Recently I started having problems with the slide locking back at random with rounds still in the magazine. Anybody have some suggestions to cure this problem ? Thanks , Ron
