"Best" is really subjective. If you are trying to build a tight, quality piece, measure the rail dimensions of the slide you already have. Then contact some of the quality parts providers (ie: Caspian, STI, Rock River, etc.) to see who can supply a frame with rail dimensions that will require fitting with the slide. That will give you a real "quality" base to build the rest of your pistol. -JPL

What do you want to know? I'm driving one and love it! Very comfortable car, goes fast, turns good and stops quick! MDS works seamlessly. Gets about 17mpg mixed town and freeway and 22-23 on trips. Have had 2 minor issues - the strap that lifts the floor in back broke and they replaced the entire floor section and the gasket between the liftgate and the spoiler is working it's way out and they are replacing that. One of the funnest and most comfortable vehicles I've ever owned!

Bill, try an EGW slide stop. They generally run .199 to .200. If that doesn't tighten it up you could try a shorter link, but be mindful of the timing and how the barrel will bed.

Is it legal to take a STI 2011 pistol and 140 & 170mm mags into the state of California to shoot a match? I am assuming that that is the equivilent of "importing" after the cutoff date and not being grandfathered. Similiar to moving to CA. and not being able to bring anything in that is not on "The List".

From the picture you posted, the tube on the right is a Para tube. You can tell by the square cut compared to the "U" cut. The notch for the mag catch is in a different position and it will not lock into a SV or STI. See if you can exchange it for the correct tube for your frame. -JPL
