  1. I use a manny bragg futuristic magnetic holster for my TS.
  2. I have a 6 Creedmoor in an RPR and a new GAP. They both shoot really well with Berger 108s as well as Hornady 108ELDMs. I've also tried Sierra 95 TMKs and 107 MK's also with good results. Groups typically open up a bit with Hornady 105s. I've not tried the Berger Hybrids. The Ruger barrel shows some serious fire cracking as it's still on the original barrel from 2017 but still shoots under moa at 200. My best groups was with RL17 pre-Covid powder shortages.
  3. I am usually an ON or OFF kind of guy. I am thinking about trying to "take a break" from competing in any capacity and just shoot for fun by myself in the fields. I fear if I don't I will get more tired of the little pressures and sell it all and quit all together..
  4. Hornady 4dof and BallisticArc are very good.
  5. I have played with both a Mark 7 and a 1050 they are nice presses, but I load my 9mm, 40, and 223 on a 650. All other ammo I load on my 550 or T-7.
  6. Well, I bought my Super 1050 about 15 years ago, second hand, for $1000, because I was shooting .45 ACP at a volume that I could not sustain on my 550. It has paid for itself many times over, even counting my time, and has never once let me down. If I had to replace it, you can be sure it would be with another Dillon.
  7. I have a ton of data for 3N37 and N340, but nothing for 3N38..
  8. I shoot target level loads in my 38 Long Colt revolvers and have done so for years. I use std. 38spl cases, Std primer, 3 gr W231 and a 158 gr wadcutter makes for a very light load.
  9. I've got a piece of schedule 80 thickwall water pipe about 5 feet long. It hangs from the ceiling of my storage shop like a clothes hanging rod. I can take either end loose and slide props on and off..
  10. I am not familiar with the Apex brand of triggers, I do love the Timney trigger I mounted in my AR-15 rifle. The Timney trigger is excellent..

    cleaning the frame

I fully disassemble the frame and use 90% Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol to clean it. Works great and any leftover after cleaning will just evaporate.
  12. Haven’t seen the 1911 here, but I love my PX-9. Tisas seems like a really good company.
