AustinMike Posted January 20, 2010 Share Posted January 20, 2010 I was surprised today to find a new USPSA card in my mailbox today for making B in Production. I was frustrated because I usually shoot up in B level at club matches, but always managed to screw up a classifier. I've been accused of sandbagging more than once, but I rarely get to shoot any major matches so believe me, that wasn't it. Mainly, I get "test anxiety" and end up doing something stupid like throwing an M or clipping a no-shoot on the classifiers. Lately, I'm lucky if I get to one club match a month with my hectic schedule. I don't have time to practice. I've gone out just to have fun and haven't even looked at my classifier scores online for months. It seems that was just what I needed to take the pressure off and do well. Go figure.
