Tried this today while I was out practicing. I don't have any USPSA targets so I used the IDPA targets, if that's o.k. Best time was 2.45 with all hits in the zero. My average on 8 tries was 2.46 with 3pts down avg. Made me think twice about keeping a solid grip on the gun and keeping my head down. Thanks Brian.

I could usually do 2.0 seconds at 7 yds with the basic GM, but my draw and hit was around .65, hands at sides, which left quite a bit more time for the other 5 shots. I never could get over the silliness of just standing there, in the open, taking too much time, at longer ranges. So I worked at being faster "close up".

Most matches require you to make longer shots, at the Nationals this year there was quite a few challenging shots. You need to work on the stuff you don't like too.

I was just reading through this thread again, I'm going to have to run this drill again this spring. Last year I started getting my draws back down into the 1.03/1.05 range at 15m and my splits got considerably better, but I never ran any 15m Bill drills to put it together.I'll make it a goal to beat my previos best.
