I can't find my charger and I need my timer tomorrow...today actually.

I was wondering if another common charger would work??

Anybody?

and yes I ordered a replacement already..

The short answer is yes any charger within the proper voltage and amperage range will work to charge the CED 7000.

The charger for my CED 7000 has the following info:

Model # SCP0500800P

Input: 100-240V AC 50-60Hz 300mA

Output: 5V DC 800mA

Center Conductor of connector is Positive

Good Luck!

Radio Shack might be able to build one from that info....

IIRC, they had a modular system once upon a time.....

You should be able to pick up a universal system at Walmart, Radio Shack, etc.

If you decide to do this, consider getting a 12V (car) system if you already have a 110V (house) adapter coming. This way once you have both, you can charge the unit in the car or at home.
