3quartertime
That is cool! Wish they listed the materials/ballistics, etc... When they shoot the steel the bullets look like they turn to liquid. Wow!
High Lord Gomer
Any idea what they were shooting to "intercept" those bullets about halfway through?
Graham Smith
It took a minute for my brain to register that 1 million fps was referring to frames per second and not feet per second. The latter is clearly impossible but people make all kind of claims. And yes, I'd like to know about the ballistics. A .204 going thru lead is a lot less impressive than something going through steel. Still and all, it's pretty impressive.
J-Ho
The data would be interesting but I like this for what it is. I've always found high speed photography to be beautiful. It is something we see every day but can not see in that kind of detail.

JThompson
Any idea what they were shooting to "intercept" those bullets about halfway through? Ya, if you type in the website listed on the video you can see what they are using to film and trigger... some pretty state of the arm stuff. chemepharmd
Cool video! It's interesting to see what happens to different kinds of bullets when they hit various materials.
joecichlid
I love that video. It always amazes me how fluid lead and copper become at ultra high speeds. Joe W.
