cold
I ran across a post on another site discussing the Young NM lite carrier being ideal for 3 gun. I have not seen any personally but was curious if anyone here uses them and what they think.
Sudden Death
I think they are better than a stock carrier , but not as good as a JP Low Mass.
rr4406pak
I have the Young N/M regular (unlightened) bolt carrier. The fit and finish is first rate. Runs flawlessly. Smooooooooth... Use it along with a JP adjustable gas block up front, rifle length gas system and stock buffer & spring. Setup rocks for 3-Gun.
bigbrowndog
I like them, and have 2 on order. the useful difference between them and JP is negligible. Trapr
Dan Sierpina
I machined one that looks similar to the Young. That rifle does shoot a bit softer than a standard weight carrier.
00bullitt
I have a Young ligthened NM and a JP SS lightened. The weight is quite a bit. The Jp is 5.2 ounces and the Young is 7 ounces. A Standard is like 9 ounces. I cannot tell the difference in the two rifles though.
