PHolsted
I pulled or strained a muscle in my back Wednesday night and I am just now able to get up and move about. Back pain can be a very humbling experience. Very true! I was in a wreck a litle over a week ago and by back is still messing with me. Just when it seems like I can do something it lets me know real quick I CAN'T!
Sarge
Don't I know it. I hurt mine last weekend lifting lumber. The funny thing is that it does not ever hurt me until the next day. Mine is still pretty sore so I might end up seeing a doc this week.
TM262
Don't I know it. I hurt mine last weekend lifting lumber. The funny thing is that it does not ever hurt me until the next day. Mine is still pretty sore so I might end up seeing a doc this week. I have noticed that too. It seems like when I over do it, I am a little sore, but the next day or day after, I am flat on my back. It always seems to catch me by surprise too.
Flatland Shooter
This weekend at the Texas Open I was RO on a stage that required the shooter lay on a bed with a dummy completely on top of the shooter. Estimates on the weight of the dummy ranged from 50# to 75#. Well, my back lasted until halfway through the next to last squad. It would have given out early in the morning but a lot of the shooters helped out. For those last few shooters, about all I could do was curl up on a lawn chair and run the scoring Palm. Not one complaint about the "lazy RO sitting there on his butt", just a bunch of good nature shooters jumping in to help out. On the way home I used the heated seats in my pickup as a heating pad, jumped into the hot tub for 30 minutes, then straight to bed with a heating pad. In 30 years of marriage I don't think I've ever slept the entire night on my back, but my wife complemented me this morning that I finally cured my snoring. Flatland Shooter
I found the heat belt wrap with the packs from the drug store work wonders for staying mobile all day. I've never tried one of these but wouldn't hurt to stick one in the glove box. Thanks for the tip. Bill
