The Aimpoint offers 50,000 hours from the same battery (that indicates a newer design LED than the cheaper version). While I agree somewhat with the "you get what you pay for" philosophy, there is another side to this train of mind. Annd that thought costs about $500 less. Bushnell's history tells us they make a decent product. Maybe it's worth a try?? I mean no, it's never going to be an aimpoint, but who knows till they try?? Maybe it's decent??
